    摘要： A steering angle sensor detects a rotational angle of a steering system whose steering is assisted by driving of an electric motor via a reduction mechanism so as to calculate a steering angle of a steering wheel. The steering angle sensor has: a sensor wheel operating simultaneously with rotation of a steering shaft; and an absolute angle calculating means for calculating an absolute steering angle based on a steering angle signal from the sensor wheel. The sensor wheel has a GMR element and a magnetizing portion which is arranged around the GMR element, and the rotational angle is detected with two turns of the steering shaft being one cycle based on a change in resistance value of the GMR element obtained by changing a magnetic field direction according to rotation of the magnetizing portion.

    摘要： A structure of support leg member having a pair of reinforcing pieces formed laterally thereof, which is used with a seat slide device provided in an automotive seat, wherein an inclinable portion is defined in the upper securing portion of the support leg member on which a guide rail of the seat slide device is securely amounted. The inclinable portion allows the guide rail to be inclined by a great load applied thereto in excess of a tolerable amount, thereby protecting the seat slide device against damage. The inclinable portion, for instance, may comprise an upward protuberant bead formed in the upper securing portion so that a pair of spacings are defined between the guide rail and a base portion of that upper securing portion such as to allow inclination of the guide towards the center of the automotive seat. Alternatively, the inclinable portion may be embodied by bending one or both of the two reinforcing pieces outwardly to render the support leg member so less rigid as to be buckled slantwise by the foregoing great load, thereby allowing inclination of the guide rail towards the center of the automotive seat.

All of the ignition device, the fuel controlling circuit and the generator portion are formed into a single integrated body which functions as an ignition/fuel controlling device.

    摘要： A lighting device for a vehicle includes a mechanism for preliminarily fitting a lens to an extension before it is firmly fitted to a housing of the lighting device. To assure that a lens fitting operation is easily achieved at a reduced cost, a fitting hole is formed through an auxiliary foot portion extending from a housing fitting foot portion of the lens. A boss in the form of a tapered pin-shaped projection extends from the extension at the position corresponding to that of the fitting hole. In addition, a flange portion is formed at the upper end of the extension. The lens fitting operation is performed by inserting the boss into the fitting hole while the flange portion is placed on the upper surface of one of the side walls defining a lens receiving groove formed at the upper end of the housing of the lighting device. In the case that there is no possibility that water invades in the interior of a lighting chamber of the lighting device, the fitting hole may be formed directly through the housing fitting foot portion.
