摘要: A heat sink has two heat radiation blocks. The heat radiation block is formed in a wide column shape. The heat radiation block has connection parts at both ends. The connection parts have respective holes formed to pass through in the axial direction of a motor. One screw is inserted in one connection part and threaded into a motor case. The other screw is inserted in the other connection part and threaded into the motor case together with a cover. A power module forming an inverter circuit of each of two power supply systems is arranged on each heat radiation blocks.

摘要: An electronic control unit (50, 70) including semiconductor modules (501 to 506) and capacitors (701 to 706) is disposed in the axial direction of a motor (30). The semiconductor modules (501 to 506) are placed longitudinally and brought into contact with a heat sink (601). The vertical line to each of surfaces of semiconductor chips included in the semiconductor modules (501 to 506) is perpendicular to the axial line of the motor (30). Accordingly, the capacitors (701 to 706) are disposed so that at least a part of the capacitors (701 to 706) overlap the semiconductor modules (501 to 506) and heat sink (601) in the axial direction of the motor (30).

摘要: A steering control apparatus acquires vibration torque, which is generated by vibration of a gear mechanism when a steering wheel is operated at a steering angle. By setting the acquired vibration torque as a torque difference, an EPS motor current command value is corrected based on the torque difference thereby to calculate a corrected EPS motor current command value. Rattling and vibration caused in the gear mechanism are suppressed from being transferred to the steering wheel through an input shaft so that a driver is released from uncomfortable feeling.

摘要: A method of inspecting an electronic circuit that includes a first integrated circuit and a second integrated circuit formed on a circuit board. The first integrated circuit has a first power source, and an input circuit that has a test signal output section and the second integrated circuit has a second power source and an output circuit that has a signal input section. The method includes steps of: turning on the first and second power sources at prescribed voltage levels; changing voltage level of the first power source; applying a test signal to the signal input section of the second integrated circuit; detecting an output signal of the signal output section of the first integrated circuit; and examining whether there is a sufficient margin in the electronic circuit by comparing the test signal and the output signal.

摘要: The present invention is characterized in that in a metal-core multilayer printed wiring board (1) which is obtained by forming one or more of at least inner layers of a laminate having a insulating layer and a conductor layer stacked alternately from a metal plate and has the metal plate as a core, the metal plate (13) is disposed below a site on which a heating element (10) is to be mounted, a surface layer over which the heating element (10) is to be mounted is connected to the metal plate (13) of the inner layer via a BVH (12) and a heat radiation layer (14) is formed over the surface layer. The present invention makes it possible to efficiently radiate heat, which has been released from the heating element, to the outside of the printed wiring board without impairing the packaging density of circuits and at the same time, to mount another element on the side opposite to the side on which the heating element exists.

摘要: An apparatus for detecting an abnormality in an A/D converter has a voltage accumulating capacitor. The apparatus includes a storage circuit which receives analog signals whose range of signal operation voltage when normal is limited to be narrower than the range of input operation voltages, and stores in advance the range of abnormal voltages of digital signals converted by the A/D converter, and determines the A/D converter to be abnormal when the digital signal voltage lies in the range of abnormal voltages. The A/D converter converts the analog signal voltage into a digital signal voltage, and then initializes the analog signal voltage of the capacitor to a voltage in the abnormal voltage range.

摘要: An electronic control system mounted on an automobile, such as a motor-assisted power steering system, includes a commanding unit for calculating a command value and a driving unit for driving an actuator according to the command value. The commanding unit and the driving unit are communicably connected to each other through a communication bus. The command value is calculated in response to an order to calculate sent from the driving unit and is transmitted to the driving unit. The driving unit detects abnormality or malfunction in the commanding unit by comparing the transmitted command value with data pre-stored in the driving unit. If a command value sent from one of the commanding units is found to be incorrect, the actuator is driven without using the incorrect command value.
