摘要: A hybrid electric vehicle is capable of transmitting driving forces of an engine and an electric motor to driving wheels through an automatic transmission and of releasing mechanical connection between the engine and the transmission by a clutch. A torque control unit switches between deceleration implemented only by the motor and deceleration by the engine and the motor by controlling the clutch based upon magnitude relation between a required deceleration torque and an upper limit deceleration torque generable by the motor. The required torque and the upper limit deceleration torques become equal to each other when the revolution speed of the motor is predetermined revolution speed. The predetermined revolution speed for the required deceleration torque corresponding to a forward gear related to downshift of the transmission differs from revolution speed that falls in the range of revolution speed fluctuation of the motor at the time of the downshift.

摘要: An exhaust purification device for an engine comprises a catalytic device for purifying exhaust by using an additive, a deflecting device for allowing the exhaust to flow through and causing the exhaust to be agitated, upstream of the catalytic device, an additive injection device for injecting an additive, downstream of the deflecting device, a temperature detection device for detecting exhaust temperature, downstream of the deflecting device, and a control unit for controlling the additive injection device on the basis of the exhaust temperature detected by the temperature detection device. The temperature detection device has a temperature detection part located within a region where the exhaust having passed through the deflecting device has increased velocity.

摘要: A hybrid electric vehicle is arranged such that a driving force of an engine and a driving force of an electric motor can be transmitted to driving wheels through a transmission and that the engine and the transmission can be mechanically connected and disconnected by means of a clutch. When an upper limit decelerating torque generable by the electric motor is equal to or greater than a requested decelerating torque, a vehicle ECU disengages the clutch and controls the electric motor to generate the requested decelerating torque. Meanwhile, when the upper limit decelerating torque is smaller than the requested decelerating torque, the vehicle ECU engages the clutch and controls the engine and the electric motor so that the sum of a decelerating torque generated by the engine and a decelerating torque generated by the electric motor is equal to the requested decelerating torque.

摘要: The invention provides a roll-over suppressing control apparatus for a vehicle wherein appropriate braking force can be applied to a turning outer wheel in response to a situation and a rolling state of the vehicle to suppress otherwise possible roll-over of the vehicle while assuring the traveling performance. A roll parameter value detection section detects a parameter value corresponding to a rolling state of a vehicle, and a turning type decision section decides a type of turning of the vehicle. A roll-over suppressing control section controls a braking mechanism in a predetermined period so that, when the rolling state of the vehicle upon turning of the vehicle is excessive with respect to a first reference state, an amount of braking force corresponding to the magnitude of the roll parameter value and the type of turning. By the control, while the traveling performance of the vehicle is assured, roll-over of the vehicle can be suppressed effectively to assure the stability of the vehicle.

摘要: During a period in which a clutch is in a partially engaged state at the time of start of a vehicle, a transmission ECU calculates load acting on the clutch (clutch-absorbed energy). When this load is large, generation of a shift signal based on a gear shift map is prohibited, and the initial gear position is held. The clutch-absorbed energy is obtained through integration of the product of clutch transmission torque and the difference between rotational speed of an engine and rotational speed of the clutch. The clutch transmission torque is determined with reference to a clutch transmission torque map provided in the transmission ECU.

摘要: An enlargement button that instruct enlargement of first to fourth buttons to is displayed on a display. The first to fourth buttons to are used to instruct the operation of a control device to be controlled by an electronic control unit to which a trouble diagnosing device is connected. When the enlargement button is manipulated, the first to fourth buttons to are enlarged in the display respectively in corners sections created by dividing the display screen substantially equally into four. With this arrangement, the operator no longer needs to monitor the first to the fourth button by eyes for manipulating these buttons, thereby improving the operability.

摘要: A booster unit is provided in an injector of a fuel injection system. The booster unit includes a booster piston accommodated in a pressure chamber, and a discharge valve capable of discharging fuel in a backpressure chamber. A controller includes an indication-value setting step which sets an indication value of a target pressure in a common rail in correspondence to an engine operation state, a determination step which determines whether or not the indication value of the pressure in the common rail is in a direction of reduction to be lower in comparison to a previously set indication value, and a booster piston pseudo-operation step which opens the discharge valve at timing other than injection operation of the injector when the determination step has determined that the indication value is in the direction of reduction.
