Abstract:
A dosing device with a manually actuated pumping component, which includes a pumping chamber, an inlet valve and an outlet valve in the region of a dosing opening, is provided. An inlet region in the region of the inlet valve and/or an outlet region in the region of the outlet valve is/are provided with flow profiles. The dosing device is to be used for dispensing pharmaceutical liquids.
Abstract:
The present invention is a unit (1, Ia) for dispensing fluids (L) suited to be applied to a container, and comprises: a hollow body (2) defining a suction/compression chamber (3) for a fluid (L), provided with a suction duct (4) for the fluid (L), to which a piston (5) is slidingly coupled, wherein said piston (5) can be moved from a first lower position to a second upper position; valve means (19) suited to regulate the flow of the fluid (L) from the suction duct (4) into the suction/compression chamber (3) and to regulate its outflow towards a communication duct (Ha) in hydraulic communication with an outlet duct (1 ib) of the device; locking means (16) that can be activated by the user to lock the piston (5) in one of the lower and upper positions. Said valve means (19) comprise two elements (20, 21) slidingly coupled with each other so that when the piston (5) is locked in the first lower position the first element (20) creates a first tight area (20a) suited to prevent the passage of the fluid (L) from the suction duct (4).
Abstract:
A metering device is provided for metering at least one medium. The metering device includes a medium storage unit and a pumping system connected to the medium storage unit. The medium storage unit or the pumping system has a venting valve which is elastically held in the closed position. The metering device also includes a control member associated with the venting valve in such a way that the control member opens the venting valve as a result of a pumping movement of the pumping system.
Abstract:
A metering pump system for metering and pumping a metered volume of a fluid product (2) has a storage chamber (57) for storing the fluid product in; a metering chamber (73) which is movable between a contracted state and an expanded state, the system adapted such that movement of the metering chamber from its contracted state to its expanded state results in the metering chamber being placed in fluid communication with the storage chamber to enable the metering chamber to receive an excess volume of the fluid product comprising the metered volume and a surplus volume from the storage chamber and movement of the metering chamber from its expanded state to its contracted state causes the metered volume to be pumped from the metering chamber; a bleed mechanism (55a, 55b) for bleeding the surplus volume from the metering chamber as it moves from the expanded state to the contracted state; and an inlet valve mechanism (150) which is disposed between the storage and metering chambers and movable between an open state, to permit flow of the fluid product from the storage chamber to the metering chamber through the inlet valve mechanism, and a closed state, to prevent flow of the fluid product between the storage and metering chambers through the inlet valve mechanism. The inlet valve mechanism is adapted so that it remains in its closed state except when the metering chamber moves from the contracted state to its expanded state.
Abstract:
This apparatus for manual and localized spraying, the apparatus comprising a tubular reservoir (1) suitable for receiving a plant treatment liquid, a gripping knob (3) mounted on one end of the reservoir, a spray assembly (5) mounted in fluid communication on the other end of the reservoir and comprising spray means (27) and tip means (51) enabling said spray assembly (5) to be pressed against the ground, and vent means for venting said reservoir. The apparatus is remarkable in that said vent means comprise a valve (13) that is actuated merely by a user gripping said knob (3), the valve being movable between a closed position preventing communication between said reservoir (1) and the outside, and an open position allowing said communication, resilient means (17) being provided for urging said valve (13) towards its closed position.
Abstract:
The present invention is a dispenser adapted to be coupled to a fluid container. The dispenser comprises a dispensing head, an energy source, and a fluid pathway. The dispensing head includes a fluid pump, a motor adapted to power the pump, a trigger adapted to control the motor, and a nozzle orifice in fluid communication with a discharge end of the pump. The fluid pathway has one portion in fluid communication with an intake end of the pump and another portion inside the container.
Abstract:
A fluid dispenser for dispensing a metered volume of a fluid product having a storage chamber for storing the fluid product in; a dispensing outlet through which the fluid product is dispensable from the dispenser; a metering chamber which is adapted to provide the metered volume of the fluid product for dispensing through the dispensing outlet by movement of the metering chamber between a contracted state and an expanded state, movement of the metering chamber from the contracted state to the expanded state placing the metering and storage chambers in fluid communication to enable the metering chamber to receive from the storage chamber an excess volume of the fluid product comprising the metered volume and a surplus volume; and a bleed arrangement adapted to bleed the surplus volume of the fluid product from the metering chamber is described.

Abstract:
The dispenser comprises a reservoir and a pump that is activated by a tappet, comprising a pump body that includes a tubular part with a smaller gauge than that of the reservoir, covering the piston, and an annular spacer by means of which it is tightly mounted against the inner wall of the reservoir such as to define an annular chamber for the product, which communicates with a dosage chamber located in the bottom of the reservoir.
