Abstract: A vehicle door that includes at least a door skin, a carrier component fixed the door skin for separating a wet space from a dry space on the vehicle door, wherein the carrier component has a wet-space side facing the wet space and a dry-space side facing the dry space, a speaker arranged on the carrier component, and a resonance body component connected the carrier component for forming a resonance space for the speaker on the wet-space side of the carrier component. The resonance body component, which together with the carrier component forms the resonance space for the speaker, forms a rail carrier surface on which at least one guide rail is provided for a window regulator of the vehicle door.

Abstract: A rear door assembly includes a motor having a shaft with a first gear attached thereto. A first end of a lever is rigidly fixed to the first shaft for rotation therewith proximate the first gear. A belt is engaged with the first gear. A rear door is pivotally supported to the vehicle and is movable between a door closed orientation and a door open orientation. The rear door has a gear assembly coupled to the lever. The rear door and the gear assembly are moved by the lever upon rotation of the lever by the motor. The gear assembly receives rotary motion from the belt such that angular displacement of the rear door caused by the rotary motion of the belt during movement between the closed orientation and the open orientation occurs at half the rate of the angular displacement of the lever.

The operator system further comprises a door (8) arranged to be moved between an open and closed (C) position, the door (8) being movably connected to the door frame (3) and a drive unit (10) mounted on the door (8), the drive unit (10) comprising at least one motor (11) arranged to move the door (8) from the closed position (C) to the open position (O). An elongated transmission member (19) extends along the first side (7) of the opening (2) and the first frame section (4). The drive unit (10) further comprises a driven transmission member (18) in driving connection with the motor (11). The method comprises the steps of: detecting door movement; determining if detected door movement relates to unexpected door movement; and, if so, taking action so as to prevent more extensive damages. The disclosure further relates to an overhead door operator system for opening and closing an opening.
