摘要: A high efficiency stripper nozzle, with a through hole configured to be connected to the through hole of another nozzle, guide, or nozzle, which comprises several radial channels that pass through the nozzle from the perimeter zone to the hole at its entrance zone. The nozzle may be divided into several pieces which can be connected together in a removable way and replaceable, which may form the radial channels between them with different sections and angles with respect to the axis of the hole. The radial channels may contact externally with an opening located on one of the surfaces of the nozzle or on one of the surfaces of the nozzle to which the nozzle is connected.

摘要: The present invention relates to a device for transforming a metal slab from coil configuration into sheet configuration, subsequently comprising: a rotatable coil holder (21); at least one align unit; and a separator; wherein the rotatable coil holder, the at least one align unit and the separator are placed in line wherein the rotatable coil holder is provided with at least one air knife (22) that directs an air flow onto the width of the metal slab. The present invention also relates to a method for transforming a metal slab from coil configuration into sheet configuration, comprising the method steps: A) placing a metal slab coil on a rotatable coil holder; B) rotating the metal slab coil and unwinding the coil; C) feeding the unwound metal slab through at least one at align unit; and D) separating individual metal slab sheets wherein an air knife is directs an air flow onto the width of the metal slab before the unwound metal slab is fed through an align unit.

摘要: A method of cleaning can bodies having a continuous sidewall closed at one end by an integral bottom portion opposite an open end is described. A can body transporter is populated a plurality of can bodies. The transporter transfers can bodies through a can body washer apparatus from an entry end to a delivery end. A plurality of spray bars are located between the entry end and the delivery end and delivers a washing solution to the plurality of can bodies. A substantially constant can body population density is maintained on the can body transporter by controlling a speed of the can body transporter relative to a rate of production of can bodies produced by an upstream can body making apparatus. A time duration of an exposure of the plurality of can bodies to the solution is controlled by regulating delivery of the solution.
