The fitting includes a large-straight-bore valve body and a housing which is adapted for connection to a sewer line. Embodiments include removable and permanently attached fittings. A further feature is a flexible hose which attaches to the housing and can be used to prevent leakage of sewer liquids when the sewer line is to be cleaned.

    摘要： A fluid valve having a generally cylindrical, hollow body provided with aligned openings in the opposed end walls thereof, one of the openings shiftably receiving a valve member and the other opening adapted to be coupled to a tube leading to a vessel to be pressurized. A coil spring in the body biases the valve member to a closed position against a valve seat carried by the adjacent end wall, and the valve member has a cap provided with a skirt surrounding the sidewall of the body so that the valve member can be opened by manually depressing the cap relative to the body. A second valve is coupled with the body so that a fluid under pressure can be directed into the body and thereby a vessel to be pressurized when the tube leading to the vessel is coupled to the other opening of the body. The body is formed in two parts to facilitate manufacture and assembly.

    摘要： A discharge system for a septic tank is disclosed which has a dump valve means at the outlet thereof for controlling the discharge of effluent. Leading from the dump valve is a central pipe that then has a plurality of smaller pipes interconnected therewith, the smaller pipes being interconnected so that the lower wall of the smaller pipes are in line with the lower wall of the larger pipe. Additionally, diverter valve or valve means as the case may be are provided for closing off part of the distribution system, and the distribution system itself is particularly characterized by having particular designed apertures through the lower circumferential section thereof so that the effluent will leach out of the pipes throughout their length by providing apertures at the far end of the pipe at the lower most circumferential portion and then progressively increasing the height of the holes as one goes back toward the central pipe and/or the septic tank.

    摘要： A wheeled service vehicle for manhole operation adapted for towing and comprising a chassis frame mounting a variety of equipment, the vehicle and equipment all being self-contained and including a prime mover with several pieces of equipment driven thereby. A housing for the vehicle is independently removable from the chassis frame without disturbing the equipment thereby making access and servicing of the equipment a simple matter. The equipment includes a generator driven by the prime mover to provide electrical power, a water pump driven by the prime mover and means for conditioning air supplied by a blower powered by the generator. Novel heat exchange means enables the air furnished by the blower to be warmed by the exhaust and coolant of the prime mover. The prime mover is fueled by bottled fuel and means are provided to warm the bottles for cold weather operation.
