    摘要: A system includes a class D amplifier and a current steering digital-to-analog converter (DAC) directly connected to the class D amplifier. The system also includes a common mode servo circuit coupled to a node interconnecting the current steering DAC to the class D amplifier. The common servo circuit amplifies a difference between a common mode signal determined from the node and a reference voltage and generates a feedback current to the node based on the amplified difference. A feed-forward common-mode compensation circuit is included to reduce an alternating current (AC) ripple from the class D amplifier. The feed-forward common-mode compensation circuit includes first and second resistors coupled to respective outputs of the class D amplifier. A current mirror is coupled to the first and second resistors and is configured to sink a current from the node to ground that approximates a common mode feedback current of the class D amplifier.

    摘要: An open-loop switch-mode boost converter includes a switching signal generator circuit that receives a time-varying input signal and outputs a switching signal. A duty-cycle of the switching signal has a first non-linear relationship to an amplitude of the time-varying input signal. An amplifier receives the switching signal and outputs a time-varying output signal, an amplitude of which has a second non-linear relationship to the duty-cycle of the switching signal. The time-varying output signal has a linear relationship to the time-varying input signal based on the first non-linear relationship and the second non-linear relationship. A filter circuit receives the time-varying output signal and outputs a filtered time-varying output signal which has a maximum frequency component that is substantially the same as a maximum frequency component of the time-varying input signal. The switching signal generator circuit is communicatively isolated from the voltage output node and the filter output node.

    摘要: A fixed frequency class-D audio amplifier includes the L-C output filter in a high order feedback loop. An audio amplifier integrated circuit includes an output driver, an output terminal, a first input terminal, a second order filter, and a summing amplifier. The output driver is configured to drive a speaker coil through an L-C filter. The output terminal is to couple the output driver to an input side of the L-C filter. The first input terminal is to couple an output side of the L-C filter to the integrated circuit. The second order filter includes a first filter stage, and a second filter stage coupled to an output of the first filter stage. The summing amplifier includes a first input coupled to the first input terminal, and a second input coupled to an output of the second filter stage.
