摘要: Machines, systems and methods for managing quality of service (QoS) in a multi-tenant virtualized computing environment, the method comprising: collecting transmission rate statistics associated with data communicated in a virtual network, wherein at least one virtual switch monitors communications initiated by at least a virtual machine (VM) executed on a host machine serviced by the virtual switch; determining, by way of the virtual switch, profile parameters associated with a first communication initiated by the VM belonging to at least a first group, wherein a connection request is submitted by the virtual switch to a traffic controller to assist in establishing the first communication; classifying the connection request for establishing the first communication according to the profile parameters associated with the first communication; determining a first aggregated transmission rate associated with the VM that initiated the first communication based on the classifying.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method, network node and service instance, the method being executed by a service provider, for optimizing resource allocation according to the needs of at least one client and according to an SLA between the client and the service provider. The method comprises obtaining a statistical behavior of a workload forecast function associated with a service of the client, obtaining a forecast value for a future workload from the workload forecast function associated with the service of the client, obtaining at least one service-level objective associated with the SLA between the client and the service provider, obtaining a modified forecast value based on the forecast value, the statistical behavior of the workload forecast function and service-level objective associated with the SLA, and adjusting resources allocated to the service based on the modified forecast thereby optimizing resource allocation for the at least one client.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, or computer program products provide for processing multi-channel service data objects to initiate automated resolution actions via an intent engine. A first service message object is received via a first communication channel of a plurality of communication channels. The first service message object defines a first feature dataset associated with the first communication channel. Additionally, a second service message object is received via a second communication channel of the plurality of communication channels. The second service message object defines a second feature dataset associated with the second communication channel. Based on the first feature dataset and the second feature dataset, support labels for the first service message object and the second service message object are generated. Furthermore, the support labels for the first service message object and the second service message object are correlated to respective resolution data objects related to one or more resolution actions.

摘要: A query is preprocessed for features identified by a Data Manipulation Language (DML) in the text of the query. A machine-learning algorithm uses the features as input and provides as output a predicted query parsing execution time needed by a query parser to parse the query. The predicted query parsing time is provided as input to a query optimizer. The query optimizer uses the predicted query parsing time as a factor in optimizing a query execution plan for the query. Subsequently, the query execution plan is executed against a database as the query.

摘要: Gateway apparatus and methods for providing data services (including IoT data services) which leverage existing managed network (e.g., cable network) infrastructure. The disclosed methods and apparatus enable, among other things, delivery of IoT data services in a unified manner via a common portal or IoT gateway (IoTG) which may be both remotely accessed by a user, and remotely controlled/configured by the host network operator (e.g., MSO). In one variant, the premises devices include RF-enabled receivers (enhanced consumer premises equipment, or CPEe) configured to receive (and transmit) OFDM waveforms via a coaxial cable drop to the premises, and interface with the aforementioned IoTG to enable provision of both 5G high-speed data services and lower bandwidth IoT services to the premises, all via a single coaxial cable drop in the exemplary embodiment.

摘要: Apparatus and methods for guaranteeing a quality of experience (QoE) associated with data provision services in an enhanced data delivery network. In one embodiment, a network architecture having service delivery over at least portions of extant infrastructure (e.g., a hybrid fiber coax infrastructure) is disclosed, which includes standards-compliant ultra-low latency and high data rate services (e.g., 5G NR services) via a common service provider. In one exemplary implementation, “over-the-top” voice data services may enable exchange of voice traffic with client devices in the aforementioned network. A distribution node may use a detection rule to identify received packets as voice traffic, and cause a dedicated bearer to attach to the default bearer, thereby enabling delivery of high-quality voice traffic by at least prioritizing the identified packets thereafter and sustaining the delivery even in a congested network environment, and improving the quality of service (QoS) and QoE for the user(s).

摘要: Various systems and methods for autonomously monitoring intent-driven end-to-end (E2E) orchestration are described herein. An orchestration system is configured to: receive, at the orchestration system, an intent-based service level objective (SLO) for execution of a plurality of tasks; generate a common context that relates the SLO to the execution of the plurality of tasks; select a plurality of monitors to monitor the execution of the plurality of tasks, the plurality of monitors to log a plurality of key performance indicators; generate a domain context for the plurality of tasks; configure an analytics system with the plurality of monitors and the plurality of key performance indicators correlated by the domain contexts; deploy the plurality of monitors to collect telemetry; monitor the execution of the plurality of tasks using the telemetry from the plurality of monitors; and perform a responsive action based on the telemetry.
