Abstract: In a transmission method according to one aspect of the present disclosure, a encoder performs error correction coding on an information bit string to generate a code word. A mapper modulates a first bit string in which the number of bits is the predetermined integral multiple of (X+Y) in the code word using a first scheme, the first scheme being a set of a modulation scheme in which an X-bit bit string is mapped to generate a first complex signal and a modulation scheme in which a Y-bit bit string is mapped to generate a second complex signal, and modulates a second bit string in which the first bit string is removed from the code word using a second scheme different from the first scheme.

Abstract: A learning method includes an input process to input, to a neural network, a first image and a second image that constitute a moving image and that are temporally adjacent to each other, where the second image is an image subsequent to the first image with a predetermined time interval therebetween, a learning process to cause the neural network to use the first image and the second image and learn to output a transformation matrix applied to all pixels of the first image and used to convert the first image into the second image, and an output process to output, as a result of estimation of motion between the first image and the second image, a motion amount image generated from the transformation matrix and representing an amount of motion of each of the pixels of the first image that continues until the predetermined time interval elapses.

Abstract: A three-dimensional data encoding method includes: dividing three-dimensional points included in three-dimensional data into three-dimensional point sub-clouds including a first three-dimensional point sub-cloud and a second three-dimensional point sub-cloud; appending first information indicating a space of the first three-dimensional point sub-cloud to a header of the first three-dimensional point sub-cloud, and appending second information indicating a space of the second three-dimensional point sub-cloud to a header of the second three-dimensional point sub-cloud; and encoding the first three-dimensional point sub-cloud and the second three-dimensional point sub-cloud so that the first three-dimensional point sub-cloud and the second three-dimensional point sub-cloud are decodable independently of each other.

Abstract: An information processing system includes a first user terminal that acquires body temperature information about a first user, and a second user terminal that presents the body temperature information to a second user. The first user terminal selects an input mode for use in acquiring the body temperature information from among a plurality of input modes each having distinctive reliability for body temperature information to be acquired, acquires the body temperature information in the selected input mode, and transmits the acquired body temperature information and input mode identification information indicating the selected input mode. The second user terminal receives the body temperature information and the input mode identification information, and causes a display part to display the body temperature information in a distinctive display manner in accordance with the input mode identification information.
