Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are described for facilitating a cell phone content watch party. A system includes a server, a host user device and a client user device—both coupled to the server, a content capture device (CCD) coupled to the host user device, and a content provider coupled to the host user device and the client user device. The content provider provides primary content segments. The CCD provides cell phone content which the host user device provides the cell phone content to the server. The server synchronizes a providing of the cell phone content with a presentation of the primary content segments by the client user device such that the presentations of the cell phone content and the primary content segments occur substantially simultaneously on the host user device and the client user device.

Abstract: A system for facilitating configuration of an audio system tests the existing audio system configuration by playing reference audio clips of various different genres of programming, the audio of which is received by a microphone of a remote control device or other handheld mobile device at various different listening points in the room. The system then compares the audio signal representing audio of the reference audio clip received at the microphone to a reference audio signal representing the reference audio clip and determines other audio characteristics. The system then determines, based on the comparison and other characteristics of the room (e.g., furniture layout, room construction materials, wall treatments and current speaker positioning) suggested changes to a configuration of the audio system to increase audio quality of the audio system for playing audio associated with the various different genres of programming.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable to adapt delivery of content composites to an endpoint media device are disclosed. A first content composite may be transmitted via a packet stream to an endpoint media device. A communication from the endpoint media device that is indicative of having output at least part of the first content composite for display may be processed. Operational data from that is indicative of operations executed by the endpoint media device or a communication device may be processed and mapped to one or more operational values correlated to a metric that corresponds to endpoint disconnection with the first content composite may be identified. A second content composite to be inserted into the packet stream to the endpoint media device may be selected. The second content composite may be transmitted via the packet stream from the content provider system to the endpoint media device.

Abstract: A facility for generating analytical information based on individual reports of multiple scheduled presentations of interstitial media assets is provided. Abstract: Embodiments described herein are directed at mapping and controlling network-enabled IoT devices housed in an environment via a graphical user interface (GUI) of an electronic device. The disclosed features include generating a digital map representing the 3D or the 2D position of the IoT devices in the environment. In some embodiments, the digital map can be overlaid on a layout of a physical floorplan of the environment also showing physical objects in the environment. Different IoT devices in the environment can be controlled via a GUI common to the different IoT devices. Additionally, the GUI can be used to select a group of IoT devices and perform group-wise control of the IoT devices in the group.

As an example, a drone may receive instructions from one or more network elements, coordinate operations with the one or more network elements, and perform at least one task associated with the instructions. The drone may deliver a container to a first location and perform object recognition to validate an object of a subscriber being delivered to a second location. The drone may measure the weight and dimensions of the object to confirm the object is within operating guidelines. After verifying the object is within operating guidelines, the drone may transport the container containing the object to the second location.

Abstract: “Binge watching” of multiple episodes of a program is improved by the player device automatically skipping repeated portions of the program. Opening and closing credit scenes, for example, can be automatically skipped to thereby allow the viewer to progress through the entire season of programming at an even faster rate than was previously thought possible. Programming to be skipped may be identified by detecting audio or other digital fingerprints in the content itself, for example.
