Abstract:
The skew between a received clock signal and a received data signal that are source synchronous, is accounted for such that stable bit values of the received data signal may be sampled. For programmable skew cancellation, a skew value corresponding to the amount of the skew is determined and programmed into a data storage device. Sampling clock signals of the same frequency but different phases are generated from the clock signal, and one of the sampling clock signals having the desired phase is selected depending on the programmed skew value. Alternatively, for automatic skew cancellation, a phase locked loop compares the received data signal to one of the sampling clock signals to determine the skew value for selecting the sampling clock signal having the desired phase. Stable bit values of the data signal are then sampled with the selected sampling clock signal.

Disclosed herein are a liquid crystal display device which is capable of driving a liquid crystal using image signals supplied to two adjacent data lines, and a driving method thereof. The liquid crystal display device has a plurality of liquid crystal cells formed respectively in pixel areas defined by intersections of n gate lines and m data lines. Each of the liquid crystal cells includes a thin film transistor connected to any one of the gate lines and any one of two data lines adjacent respectively to left and right sides of a corresponding one of the liquid crystal cells, among the data lines, and a liquid crystal capacitor and a storage capacitor each formed between the other one of the two adjacent data lines and the thin film transistor.

Provided are picolinamide and pyrimidine-4-carboxamide compounds, a method for preparing the same, a pharmaceutical composition containing the same, and a medical use using the compound as an agent for preventing, regulating, and treating diseases related to regulation of glucocorticoids by using selective inhibitory activity of the compound for an 11β-HSD1 enzyme. A method of providing data, an LCD and a driving method are disclosed. An image data voltage is inverted. A charge share voltage between the inverted image data voltages is used as a black data. The image data voltage and the black data voltage are applied in sequence, wherein the charge share voltage between the inverted image data voltages is applied as the black data voltage. Thus, motion blurring may be suppressed and manufacturing cost may be reduced because it is unnecessary to generate the black data voltage separately. Also, the typical driving frequency is used even if the black data voltage is used, to reduce cost.

The present invention relates to a novel process for preparing iopromide which is used as a contrast agent for X-ray, wherein 5-methoxyacetylamino-2,4,6-triiodoisophthalic acid (2,3-diacetoxypropyl)amide chloride of formula (19) and 5-methoxyacetylamino-2,4,6-triiodoisophthalic acid [(2,3-dihydroxy-N-methylpropyl)-(2,3-diacetoxypropyl)]diamide of formula (20) are introduced as intermediates, by which a bismer by-product generated during the preparation process can be removed even without an additional removal procedure and thus iopromide with high purity can be prepared in high yield.
