    Abstract: Provided is a black heart malleable cast iron and a method for manufacturing the same which can significantly shorten the time required for graphitization, as compared with the prior art. The black heart malleable cast iron includes a matrix of ferrite and lump graphite included in the matrix, and includes at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) 0.0050% by mass or more and 0.15% by mass or less of bismuth and 0.020% by mass or more of manganese, and (ii) 0.0050% by mass or more and 1.0% by mass or less of aluminum and 0.0050% by mass or more of nitrogen. In addition, the grain size of the matrix is 8.0 or more and 10.0 or less in terms of grain size number, numerically determined by comparison between a metallographic photograph of the matrix and a standard grain size chart.

    Abstract: A magnetic coupling device includes a driving magnet array having multiple annular sector-shaped, circumferentially arranged first permanent magnets, and a driven magnet array having multiple circular sector-shaped, circumferentially arranged second permanent magnets with pole surfaces facing pole surfaces of the first permanent magnets. The driven magnet array is rotated by the driving magnet array being rotated. A repulsion zone where a repulsive force acts is designed to have an area that is 5% to 15% of that of an attraction zone where an attractive force acts between a specific first permanent magnet and a specific second permanent magnet, with a radial first centerline of the specific first permanent magnet overlapping a radial second centerline of the specific second permanent magnet so that opposite poles face each other, including between first and second permanent magnets respectively adjacent the specific first and second permanent magnets with overlapping the centerlines.

    Abstract: Provided herein is a shield cable that can inhibit a shield from being damaged when the shield cable is bent. The shield cable of the present disclosure includes a central conductor; an insulator situated closer to an outer circumference of the shield cable than the central conductor is; a first tape layer situated closer to the outer circumference of the shield cable than the insulator is, and made of a paper, a non-woven fabric, or a resin tape; a shield situated closer to the outer circumference of the shield cable than the first tape layer is; a second tape layer situated closer to the outer circumference of the shield cable than the shield is, and including a paper, a non-woven fabric, or a resin tape; and a sheath situated closer to the outer circumference of the shield cable than the second tape layer is.
