Abstract: Proposed is a high temperature superconducting wire manufacturing method and a high temperature superconducting wire having multiple superconducting layers formed by applying the method. The method includes a stacking process in which a pair of protective layers of superconducting wires including a substrate, a superconducting layer, and the protective layer are stacked such that the protective layers face each other, a joining process in which the protective layers facing each other are diffusion joining together by thermal treatment and become a joining protective layer, an exfoliating process in which a layered structure of an upper portion of the corresponding superconducting layer is removed such that one side of the superconducting layer is exposed to the outside, and an outermost protective layer forming process in which an outer protective layer formed of the same material as the joining protective layer is formed on the upper portion of the exposed superconducting layer.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a wire harness, and a wire harness. The method includes: Step S110: printing an insulation carrier by a 3D printing process; Step S120: laying at least one conductor on the insulation carrier; and Step S130: printing an insulation layer on the insulation carrier by a 3D printing process, to make the conductor be enclosed between the insulation carrier and the insulation layer. The wire harness is manufactured by the method for manufacturing the wire harness. The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing wire harness by means of 3D printing, in which a wire harness can be obtained by printing an insulation layer and laying a conductor alternatively.

Abstract: A high frequency signal transmission cable includes a conductor, an insulator provided over a periphery of the conductor, a plating layer provided over a periphery of the insulator, and a sheath provided over a periphery of the plating layer. A crack suppressing layer includes a non-cross-linked polyethylene is provided between the insulator and the plating layer, in such a manner as to remain in contact with the insulator while being provided with the plating layer over an entire periphery of a roughened outer surface of the crack suppressing layer. The crack suppressing layer is unadhered to the insulator. The plating layer is adhered to the crack suppressing layer. The crack suppressing layer suppresses an occurrence of a cracking in the plating layer by bending together with the plating layer while being integral and moving with the plating layer in a longitudinal direction of the cable.

Abstract: Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.

Abstract: A multicore cable inspection method of specifying a correspondence relationship among ends of insulated electric wires exposed from both ends of a multicore cable, the method including: inputting, by capacitance coupling, an inspection signal to the end of the insulated wire to be inspected among the ends of the insulated wires exposed at the one end of the multicore cable; inputting, by the capacitive coupling, each of first and second signals, each of which has a phase different from the inspection signal, to the ends of the two insulated wires other than the insulated wire to be inspected; measuring a voltage of an output signal outputted from the capacitive coupling from each end of the insulated wires exposed at the other end of the multicore cable; and specifying the other-side end of the insulated wire to be inspected. At this time, an amplitude of a signal obtained by adding the inspection signal and the first and second signals is smaller than that of the inspection signal.

Abstract: A flexible flat cable (FFC) includes a first insulation layer, at least one pair of conductors, a plurality of low-k dielectric layers, two second insulation layers, and at least one shielding layer. The pair of conductors is located within the first insulation layer. Each pair of conductors includes a plurality of first conductors, and the first conductors are axially extending and arranged in parallel. The low-k dielectric layers are embedded in the first insulation layer. Each of the pair of conductors or each of the first conductors is covered and surrounded with one low-k dielectric layer. The two second insulation layers are located on two surfaces of the first insulation layer. The shielding layer is located on the two second insulation layers opposite to the first insulation layer.

Abstract: Provided are a core electric wire for multi-core cable that is superior in flex resistance at low temperature, and a multi-core cable employing the same. A core electric wire for multi-core cable according to an aspect of the present invention comprises a conductor obtained by twisting element wires, and an insulating layer that covers an outer periphery of the conductor, in which, in a transverse cross section of the conductor, a percentage of an area occupied by void regions among the element wires is from 5% to 20%. An average area of the conductor in the transverse cross section is preferably from 1.0 mm2 to 3.0 mm2. An average diameter of the element wires in the conductor is preferably from 40 μm to 100 μm, and the number of the element wires is preferably from 196 to 2,450. The conductor is preferably obtained by twisting stranded element wires obtained by twisting subsets of element wires. The insulating layer preferably comprises as a principal component a copolymer of ethylene and an α-olefin having a carbonyl group.
