An optical reproducing apparatus and method. The optical reproducing apparatus includes an optical drive for reading data stored in an optical medium, a digital signal processor and controller for decoding the read data, a signal converter for signal-converting the decoded data into a signal of a certain format, and a digital visual interface (DVI) for converting and outputting the converted signal into a digital signal compliant to a DVI specification. Accordingly, the data recorded in the optical medium is reproduced and output as a digital signal compliant to the DVI specification.
Abstract:
An apparatus for absorbing vibration of a compressor includes: an elastic body mounted at an outer surface of a compressor case and elastically deformed when vibration is generated at a compressor; and a mass body connected to the elastic body, resonating with the compressor, for absorbing vibration of the compressor. Accordingly, vibration of the compressor is reduced so that noise and reliability degradation of a component due to the vibration can be reduced.

Disclosed is a built-in refrigerator provided in a sink and effectively discharging heat from a condenser and a compressor. The built-in refrigerator includes a cabinet provided in the sink and a component chamber at a rear bottom thereof and a dust guard provided at a front bottom of the cabinet; a compressor provided in the component chamber; a condenser provided under a bottom surface of the cabinet; a ventilating passage communicating the component chamber with a bottom of the cabinet and outside of the dust guard for discharging heat generated from the condenser and the compressor to outside; and a cooling fan provided in the component chamber for cooling the compressor and the condenser.

A refrigerator includes: a refrigerator body having a cooling chamber for storing food items and a mechanic chamber provided at one side thereof; a heat exchanger disposed in the mechanic chamber and performing heat exchanging while a refrigerant passes therethrough; a cross flow fan disposed facing the heat exchanger and blowing air for heat exchange; and a compressor mounted inside the mechanic chamber and compressing a refrigerant. A space for the mechanic chamber can be reduced, and thus, a cooling chamber for keeping food items can be enlarged.

Disclosed is a washing machine with a float type clutch in which a float connects a rotating force from a motor to a spin-drying shaft or disconnects the rotating force from the spin-drying shaft as it is upwardly or downwardly moved in accordance with supply or drainage of wash water, thereby allowing a washing operation or a dehydrating operation to be carried out, while forming an air layer for preventing wash water from reaching gears included in the float type clutch. A clutch control method in the washing machine with the float type clutch is also disclosed which involves an algorithm for determining whether or not the float is engaged with or disengaged from the spin-drying shaft, and executing an engagement or disengagement operation based on the determined result, and an algorithm for discriminating whether or not the engagement or disengagement is achieved in accordance with the float engagement/disengagement determining algorithm, thereby achieving an improvement in the reliability of float engagement/disengagement operations.

A dishwasher is provided which uses a combined circulation/drain pump and an improved filtering system to enhance cleaning capability. The circulation section of the pump provides pressurization and supplies wash water to a spray arm of the dishwasher, while the drain section discharges the wash water. This single pump reduces space requirements, as well as manufacturing costs. A two stage filtration system may be used in the water collection area of the dishwasher to filter out unwanted material, and a third filter may further filter wash water prior to recirculation. Self cleansing mechanisms associated with each of the filters may be used to keep the filters free from obstructions and allow for the unobstructed flow and discharge of wash water.

The present invention provides to an isoxazoline derivative of formula (I), the pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters and stereochemically isomeric forms thereof, and the use of the derivative in inhibiting the activity of caspases. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition for preventing inflammation and apoptosis which comprise the isoxazoline derivative, pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters and stereochemically isomeric forms thereof and the process for preparing the same. The derivative according to the present invention can be effectively used in treating diseases due to caspases, such as, for example the disease in which cells are abnormally died, dementia, cerebral stroke, AIDS, diabetes, gastric ulcer, hepatic injury by hepatitis, sepsis, organ transplantation rejection reaction and anti-inflammation.

An apparatus for moving a bonding head of a wire bonder in X, Y and Z axial directions according to the present invention comprises a linear guide member for guiding said bonding head in the X and Y axial directions, a XY moving means for providing a moving force in the horizontal (X and Y axial) directions to said linear guide member by causing an induced electromotive force, a Z moving means for providing a moving force in the vertical (Z axial) direction to a block of said bonding head by causing an induced electromotive force, a hinge means for converting said moving force of said Z moving means into a rotating force, and functioning as a rotation center so that the block is rotated in the direction to a wire clamp motion. Thus, the present invention is not necessary additional device, the assembly is simple and the volumn of entire apparatus is reduced. In this case, since weight to be moved is reduced due to the reduce of volumn, the position control of the bonding head is perfored accurately.
