    摘要: An outer-rotor variable-speed motor, to which single-phase AC power is applied and on which a rotor is provided outside a stator, comprises first and second main windings provided on a stator of the motor to form a plurality of poles, a frequency detector for detecting the frequency of AC power applied to the motor, and a relay for connecting the first and second main windings in series if the detected frequency is 60 Hz and connecting the first and second main windings in parallel if the detected frequency is 50 Hz. The speed of the motor is kept constant even when power at different frequencies is applied, so that it is possible to reduce the manufacturing cost of the motor and reduce the power consumption, and also to reduce electromagnetic noise from the motor.

    摘要: Disclosed is a dishwasher including, a circulating pump for pressing and then supplying wash liquid, an injection arm for permitting the wash liquid pressed and supplied from the circulating pump to be injected by a predetermined passage structure, an underdrain container for collecting the wash liquid injected from the injection arm and supplying the collected wash liquid to the circulating pump, during a washing stage, a soil collecting chamber having a micro filter with a fine mesh for ramifying and finely filtering the wash liquid supplied from the circulating pump and returning the same to the underdrain container, during the washing stage, a drain pump for allowing the wash liquid to be drained through a drain passage which is extended from the underdrain container, and through a connecting passage which is extended from the soil collecting chamber and connected to the drain passage, during a draining stage. The present invention has advantages of preventing pollution of newly supplied wash liquid from being aggravated, since foreign materials filtered by the micro filter in the washing stage is smoothly discharged in the draining stage, and removing troublesome process of additionally removing the foreign materials after dish washing, since the micro filter is self-purified, thereby improving efficiency in washing and convenience in use.

In the washing machine, the tub assembly is suspended and supported within an upright housing at a predetermined angle relative to the perpendicular of the housing. The tilted position of the tub assembly within the housing is stably held by damper hangers, shock absorbing units and/or elastic support units. The tilted tub assembly is convenient to users while putting or taking laundry into or out of the tub assembly. The tilted tub assembly also forms complex and active water currents suitable for preventing laundry from being entangled during a washing operation. The washing effect of the washing machine is thus improved with a reduced deviation of the washing effect. The washing machine almost completely prevents its drive motor from being overloaded and conserves the operational time while washing laundry. This saves water and electric power during a washing operation.

    摘要: A digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion apparatus using a delta-sigma method performs an additional gain control operation in addition to a filtering operation with respect to differential data in a conventional D/A conversion apparatus. The D/A conversion apparatus includes a multiplier for multiplying the differential data output from a differentiator contained in a conventional D/A conversion apparatus and outputting the resultant data, a filter for filtering the differential data and outputting the filtered data and an adder for adding the output data of the multiplier and the filter and supplying the added result to a quantizer. The factor used in the multiplier is properly selected so that smaller quantization noise is generated than that added during quantization in the conventional D/A conversion apparatus. Thus, the D/A conversion apparatus can provide a wider signal passband in comparison to the conventional D/A conversion apparatus, since it generates the relatively smaller quantization noise with respect to the entire passband. As a result, the D/A conversion apparatus provides good performance appropriate for a next-generation audio equipment requiring a higher signal-to-noise ratio. Also, since the D/A conversion apparatus can be realized by modifying the conventional D/A conversion apparatus slightly in hardware, a D/A conversion apparatus having much better performance can be manufactured using a substantially same production cost and process.
