Abstract:
A method of multiple language web content management. The method is suitable for use in a system including at least one web server, at least one language database and a management interface. The web server first links to the language database corresponding to the language type of the web content, and obtains the dynamic data corresponding to the language type from the language database. The dynamic data and the static data are then combined, and displayed as web content by the web server. The dynamic data can be modified through the management interface, and the modified dynamic data is stored in the corresponding language database according to its language type, and is displayed by the web server.
Abstract:
A method for forming a vertical nitride read-only memory cell. A substrate having at least one trench is provided. A first conductive layer is formed in the lower trench and insulated from the substrate to serve as a source line. A first doping region is formed in the substrate adjacent to the top of the first conductive layer. A first insulating layer is formed on the first conductive layer. A second doping region is formed in the substrate adjacent to the top of the trench. A second insulating layer is formed over the sidewall of the trench and on the first insulating layer to serve as a gate dielectric layer. A second conductive layer is formed in the upper trench to serve as a control gate. A vertical nitride read-only memory cell is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A steam sterilizable monolayer medical tubing comprising a blend of a melt strength enhancing agent of a homopolymer or copolymer of polypropylene having free-end long chain branches of propylene units, a melt flow index of greater than 10 and in an amount of 1-10% by weight and a second component selected from the group of (i) a selectively hydrogenated block copolymer of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene and (ii) a selectively hydrogenated block copolymer of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene to which has been grafted, an alpha, beta-olenfically unsaturated monocarboxylic or dicarboxylic acid reagent.
Abstract:
An improved system and method for providing sterile connections. To this end, a device is provided comprising a body, a chamber defined, at least in part, by a portion of the body, the chamber including an interior having a solid sterilizing agent that can sublimate at ambient conditions, and a member that defines., in part, the chamber and is so constructed and arranged to allow the solid sterilizing agent to release in a rate controlled manner through the member.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an improved coextruded medical grade port tubing. The medical grade port tubing provides characteristics that are desirable in the medical industry and therefore can be used as a medical port tubing in, for example, renal therapy or blood donor tubes. To this end, the present invention provides a non-PVC coextruded medical grade port tubing including: an outer layer comprising a blend of polypropylene copolymer and styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene copolymer; a tie layer; and a core layer including a blend of polyamide and ethylene vinyl acetate.
Abstract:
An FET ROM and a manufacturing process in which ROM's can be stockpiled after the gates have been formed and the source and drain implants have been made but before the write operation has been performed. At this stage, the unwritten ROM has an array of enhancement mode FET's connected in a logical NAND configuration with an overlying layer of insulation. For a write operation, the insulation is removed to expose the drain and source regions of the FET's, a conductive layer is formed over the array, and the layer is selectively etched to leave a short circuit element between the drain and source of those FET's that are to store a binary 0 and to leave switchable the FET's that are to store a 1.
Abstract:
In accordance with the instant invention, biaxially-oriented polymer sheet is produced by continuously forging polymer feedstock between pairs of converging opposed surfaces. After it is biaxially-oriented, the sheet product is either cooled or heated while being restrained and advanced. The sheet produced by the process and apparatus has substantially uniform strain distribution over the width and length thereof as well as through the thickness thereof.
Abstract:
A power supply includes a housing having a compartment. An electric motor includes a fixed seat fixed to a first end wall of the housing and located in the compartment. The electric motor further includes a shaft rotatably mounted to the fixed seat. The electric motor further includes a first stator fixed on the fixed seat and a first rotor fixed to the shaft. A first fan is fixed to the shaft. A generator is concentrically mounted around the electric motor. The generator includes a second stator fixed to the fixed seat and a second rotor rotatably mounted to the shaft and concentric to the second stator. A second fan is fixed around the second rotor. The first and second fans are coaxial and adjacent to each other. A power device is mounted to the housing and is electrically connected to the generator and the electric motor.
Abstract:
Patients suffering from acute renal failure must be diagnosed and treated quickly so that a physician can confidently prescribe either peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis. In one way of quickly treating the patients, software is used to calculate a suitable peritoneal dialysis prescription without regard to how short or how long a dialysis cycle is used, and without regard to a total dialysate fluid volume for a therapy. For patients with suitable peritoneal membrane transport properties, the software program suggests that, at least over a short period of time, unexpectedly high ultrafiltrate volumes and high clearances may be achieved.
Abstract:
A hemodialysis system for operation with a blood source and a dialysate source, the system including: (i) a first machine portion including a blood pump; (ii) a blood cassette operatively connected to the blood pump such that the blood pump can pump blood through the blood cassette when the blood cassette is in fluid communication with the blood source; (iii) a dialyzer fluidly connected to the blood cassette; (iv) a second machine portion separate from the first machine portion, the second machine portion including a dialysate pump; and (v) a dialysate cassette separate from the blood cassette, the dialysate cassette operatively connected to the dialysate pump such that the dialysate pump can pump dialysate through the dialysate cassette when the dialysate cassette is in fluid communication with the dialysate source, the dialysate cassette being fluidly connected to the dialyzer.
