摘要: A multiple wavelength-adaptive optical pickup according to the present invention enables to obtain stable signals by suppressing displacement of optical intensity distribution at a light receiving section. When an incident angle of a central beam of a zero-dimensional beam of a beam reflected at an optical disc into a half mirror is taken as θ, if variation in transmittance of the mirror become a maximum with respect to change in the incident angle from θ to a plus side in any one of the wavelengths corresponding to the respective optical discs, a −1 dimensional beam generated on the minus side with respect to the zero-dimensional beam is received by the light receiving section, and if the variation in the transmittance of the mirror become the maximum with respect to change in the incident angle from θ to the minus side, a +1 dimensional beam generated on the plus side with respect to the zero-dimensional beam is received by the light receiving section. These received one-dimensional beams are used for detection of signals for servo control.

摘要: A hemodialysis apparatus that carries out hemodialysis treatment by controlling dialysis conditions, wherein the hemodialysis treatment is carried out under dialysis conditions determined by defining the course of said chronological target blood indication level as a target control line, measuring the blood indication level at each measurement point (controlling point) in said chronological course, calculating the dialysis conditions with the use of said measured blood indication level and the target blood indication level at the next measurement point (controlling point) of said measurement point (controlling point) in the hemodialysis apparatus carrying out hemodialysis treatment by controlling dialysis conditions with the use of blood volume (BV level) or blood volume change as an indication level (hereinafter also referred to as blood indication level), to attain the target blood indication level at the next measurement point (controlling point). This apparatus has a simple control mechanism and has little risk of misoperation or out-of-control. An operator can easily handle it and the control can be quickly and precisely carried out. Therefore, the blood volume transits appropriately during hemodialysis, which is an excellent effect.

摘要: An OCR process is executed for image data read by an image reading unit. First date information in the image data is acquired based on the OCR process result. Current second date information is acquired. The acquired first date information is compared with the second date information. Time stamp information is added to the image data if the comparison result indicates that the difference between the two pieces of date information falls within a predetermined period. The image data is saved at a designated saving destination.

摘要: To perform provision of information which allows a driver to generally know events which a vehicle is about to reach, and which calls the driver's attention to the events. A computer 14 controls a display apparatus 16 so as to display symbols, which corresponding to all events existing between a position of a vehicle and an end position of a service section, among events existing in the service section as first display object symbols in a first display area. In addition, the computer 14 controls the display apparatus 16 so as to display, synchronizing timing with the vehicle reaching a position corresponding to the calculated display timing, symbols corresponding to the display timing as second display object symbols in a second display area in a display size larger than a display size of the first display object symbols.

摘要: A vehicle surroundings monitoring apparatus 2 has cameras having optical axes respectively, provided with imaging lens systems 5, 6 each having a fish-eye lens 5a, 6a, image processing units 7, 8 and an calculating unit 9. The image processing units 7, 8 detects moving objects, such as vehicles traveling alongside a host vehicle provided with the vehicle surroundings monitoring apparatus, and oncoming vehicles, on the basis of optical flow between two images taken by the cameras at different times, respectively, and sets a representative point representing the detected moving object on the surface of a road. The calculating unit calculates the position of the moving object relative to the host vehicle on the basis of displacement angles &agr; and &bgr; of the representative point A with respect to the optical axis on an assumption that the representative point A is on a plane including a surface with which the host vehicle is in contact.

摘要: In a color facsimile apparatus capable of receiving a monochrome image and a color image, a monochrome image printing cartridge, a general color image printing cartridge and a photograph image printing cartridge can be selectively installed in a printing unit. When the kind of received image does not correspond to the kind of installed cartridge, the received image is stored in a memory, and a warning is given to a user. Further, when recording of the received image is forcedly performed based on a user's instruction even in this case, the user is inquired whether or not the image stored in the memory is to be deleted.
