    Abstract: A telescopic tube joint (1) is provided for vacuum cleaner suction tubes or for tripods having at least one outer tube (2) and at least one inner tube (3). The tube joint includes a catch recess (5) in the inner tube (3), a catch element (8) on the outer tube (2) which are lockable or unlockable via a manually actuated, rotably movable slider (11) which moves the catch element (8) through an opening (10) in the outer tube (2). The catch recess in the inner tube (3) consists of a tooth strip (6) provided with a plurality of teeth (5) , formed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner tube (3). The catch element consists of a short toothed rack (8) having opposing teeth (7), which is pressed into force- and form-fit contact with the toothed strip (6) by the rotary slider (11) in a locked position when turned at a small angle (α).

    Abstract: A centrifugal pump with an existing pump housing made of plastic material that can be processed through injection molding, the pump housing having a first housing section featuring a suction nozzle and a pressure nozzle, a second housing section supporting an electronically commutated DC motor and a split case, a motor housing section that closes a dry chamber separated from a wet chamber by the split case in which a stator and electronic components are arranged, and a permanent magnet rotor that is mounted in the wet chamber in such a way that it can rotate, thereby driving a pump impeller that reaches into the pump chamber. The electronic components are arranged on an electronic circuit board parallel to a base of the split case. The electronic circuit board is in heat conducting contact with the base.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a process of preparing a moulded article, comprising 1) hydrolysing a) at least one silane having one non-hydrolysable organic group, and b) at least one compound selected from b1) a silane having two non-hydrolysable organic groups, and b2) a hydrolysable polysiloxane, or a mixture thereof, and c) optionally at least one silane having no non-hydrolysable organic group, to prepare a composite composition comprising a hydrolysate or condensate, 2) placing the composite composition in a mould, 3) curing the composite composition to increase the degree of condensation, 4) removing the moulded article from the mould, and 5) heat treating the moulded article at a temperature of at least 100° C.     Abstract: A doctor blade system utilizes a lightweight doctor blade chamber to apply ink to an inking roller. The doctor blade chamber is removably positioned on a support plate which is, in turn, carried by linear guides on pivotable end plates. A rigid box beam is also attached to the end plates and is spaced from the support plate. A plurality of membrane cylinders are mounted on the rigid box beam and engage a surface of the support plate opposite to the surface that supports the doctor blade chamber. Through the application of suitable force, the support plate and its supported doctor blade chamber can be moved, by sliding motion on the linear slides, into uniform engagement with the surface of the ink roller. The system uses pivotable end plates which are supported by exterior plates that are, in turn, pivotably supported by press side frames. The chamber doctor blade and its support plate and box beam can be moved into several different positions, with respect to the cooperating ink roller, to facilitate doctor blade chamber cleaning or replacement or ink roller replacement.
