    摘要: A tool holder positioning device includes: a plurality of protruded portions or a plurality of recessed portions formed to a seating surface of a tool rest; and a plurality of recessed portions or a plurality of protruded portions formed to a coupling surface of a tool holder so as to correspond, respectively, to a plurality of protruded portions or a plurality of recessed portions formed to the seating surface of the tool rest, when the seating surface and the coupling surface are contacted. At least one of the protruded portions and at least one of the recessed portions are disposed on an intersecting axis included in the seating surface, and the recessed portions and the protruded portions to be fitted to the plurality of protruded portions and the plurality of recessed portions are disposed on an intersecting axis included in the coupling surface. A plurality of slots parallel with the seating surface or coupling surface are alternatively formed in a direction of an axis on which the protruded portions are disposed so that the protruded portions are elastically deformable, and tapered surfaces of the recessed portions and the protruded portions are symmetrically formed thereof, respectively.

    摘要: In an optical modulation device (10) having an electrical/optical interaction region (11), an electrical signal line (3) is connected to an electrical signal input terminal (2a), another electrical signal line (4a) is connected to an electrical signal output terminal (2b), and a reflection control circuit (5) is connected to the other electrical signal line (4a). This reflection control circuit (5) is an impedance element which positively reflects an output electrical signal from the interaction region (11) of the optical modulation device (10). This makes it possible to raise the upper-limiting frequency at which the E/O (Electrical-to-Optical) response characteristic can be improved, and improve the flatness of the frequency characteristic of the E/O response without deteriorating the absolute value of the E/O response.

    摘要: In an imaging system having a semiconductor integrated circuit device, noise problems due to a large through-current in an output circuit resulting from the change-over of digital video data outputted from an AD conversion LSI are reduced by a technique involving encoding and code conversion. After AD conversion of an analog color video signal from an imaging element, a difference between codes of adjacent pixels is obtained in regard to the same color, and an output code of this difference is converted into a code with less change-over bits between the adjacent codes.

    摘要: During a collision, an air bag causes deformation of a roof head lining as the air bag expands. A roof head lining deformation limiting structure restricts inward deformation of the roof head lining. Thus, the roof head lining is prevented from interfering with an interior equipment, e.g., a sun visor, thereby reducing breakage of the sun visor provided adjacent the roof head lining. The deformation limiting structure can take the form of an assist grip or a card holder. Also, the assist grip or the card holder can be mounted onto a member, e.g., a bracket, that plastically deforms upon being struck by the occupant's head during a collision, thereby absorbing a portion of the impact that would otherwise be transferred to the occupant.
