摘要： A method of manufacturing a semiconductor having a trench region is disclosed. After an etching process for forming an trench region in a substrate, the corners of the trench region are covered with a polycrystalline layer. The structure is subjected to an oxidation treatment. Since the polycrystalline layer covers the corners roundly, the oxidation results in semiconductor islands having rounded corners.

摘要： An air-fuel ratio controlling apparatus of an engine having an electronic control type automatic change gear ensures the expected acceleration feeling when a power mode is selected in the low load operation with a view to the start or the like of the automobile, and ensures the operation with emphasis upon the fuel cost. An air-fuel ratio adjusting means is provided to correct the air-fuel ratio to be richer during the low load operation of the engine when the power mode is selected than when an economy mode is selected.

摘要： A drum type laundry dryer has an outer frame, a drying drum rotatably supported by the outer frame and adapted to receive laundry to be dried, a fan for introducing air into the drying drum, a heater for heating air to be introduced into the drying drum, air outlet ports in the drying drum and a filter device adjacent to the air outlet ports. The filter device is formed by a net and a lint collector disposed in opposite relationship to the net. The lint collector is annular and spaced from the net a distance which is smaller in the inlet section of the lint collector than in an inner section thereof.

摘要： A display device includes an EL panel including an array of scan electrodes, an array of data electrodes crossing the scan electrodes and a plurality of pixels each lying sandwiched between a respective one of the scan electrodes and a respective one of data electrodes, a circuit for applying sequentially a write pulse voltage V.sub.W to the scan electrodes in a line scanning fashion and a circuit for applying a refresh pulse voltage V.sub.R of a polarity opposite that of the write pulse voltage V.sub.W throughout the panel upon completion of field scanning. Alternatively, a pulse voltage having a polarity opposite that of the refresh pulse V.sub.R and an amplitude insufficient to cause electroluminescence may be applied after the application of the refresh pulse V.sub.R is completed.

摘要： An electric fan having a rotary grille provided with a plurality of inclined grille plates and a small-sized reversibly rotatable synchronous electric motor adapted to rotatively drive the rotary grille.
