    摘要： A trimmer head for a line trimmer includes an automatic line feeding mechanism. The trimmer head accepts a spool of cutting line and spins extended line to trim, for example, unwanted vegetation in lawns. Upon actuation of the automatic line feeding mechanism, damaged or broken cutting line is replaced with additional cutting line from the spool. The mechanism is actuated remotely (electrically or manually) and eliminates the requirement to bump the trimmer head on the ground thus reducing wear and tear on the trimmer.

    摘要： A rehydration composition and oral delivery system is provided that allows for enhanced functional ingredient delivery when ingested orally as a water based solution. The rehydration composition comprises a liposomed electrolyte composition comprised of sodium, potassium, citrate, and/or bicarbonate. The rehydration composition, which is concentrated or dried, becomes an oral rehydration solution (ORS) when mixed with water for oral consumption. The rehydration composition, may optionally contain carbohydrates, or functional ingredients, liposomed or not, such as vaccines, drugs, amino acids, mineral salts, vitamins, nutraceuticals, probiotics, prebiotics, flavors, or nutritive or non-nutritive sweeteners. These oral rehydration compositions may then be concentrated to greater than 78% solids or dried to less than 5% moisture. The composition may also be concentrated to less than 78% solids and packaged aseptically or stabilized with preservative agents.

    摘要： A sensor for biopotential measurements is designed to detect low voltage electrical signals on a subject's skin surface. A plurality of soft elastomeric bristles are arranged about the surface of the skin. Various bristles contain a wick, made of polyolefin, polyester or nylon, extending along its center axis with one end protruding from the bristle and another end in contact with a fluid reservoir. The wick is saturated with an electrically conductive liquid, such as a salt solution. The solution may contain a surfactant. The rheological properties of the electrically conductive liquid are optimized for predictable flow through the wick onto the skin surface. An electrode is positioned in the vicinity of the wick and the reservoir. Alternatively, a sensor comprises a plurality of hollow, soft elastomeric bristles filled with a hydrogel. An electrically conductive cap provides the electrical contact between the hydrogel and the electrical circuit.

    摘要： A collapsible table is concealed and stored in the hollow chamber of an upholstered seat arm. The table is pivotally connected to the seat arm by a two-segment spar which supports the table in the extended position and is collapsible for returning the table to the stored position in the arm chamber. A handle is easily manipulable by a seat occupant for collapsing the spar and returning the table to its storage position. The outer upholstered panel of the arm carries the male member of a latch for pivotal movement of the panel to permit access to the chamber and extension of the table. The table carries a cup holder which is pivotal between concealed and extended positions and which is automatically returned to its concealed position by engagement with the front post of the arm when the table is returned to its storage position.

    摘要： There is disclosed a solids collection and removal system for a settling tank. It is particularly designed for installation in generally rectangular, in-ground settling tanks such as is commonly used for water treatment. The collection device includes a plurality of bottom-travelling collectors which have elongated, open-bottomed channel housings, each with a scraper blade pivotally supported by a pin-in-slot attachment to provide a modified pendulum suspension. The collectors, which span the width of the tank, are mounted on a track or other suitable mechanical linkage for oscillatory travel across preselected portions of the bottom of the settling tank. Each collector is divided by a longitudinal baffle into a lowermost collection chamber and an upper evacuation chamber. The latter is connected through a conduit to a vacuum system for the evacuation of the solids from the collectors.
