摘要: To purchase an item which is viewed on a broadcast. The items may include furniture, jewelry, clothing and automobiles. The viewer is able to utter a phrase in reference to a viewed item that they wish to view or purchase. The system then searches the broadcast information and displays all relevant items. The viewer is then able to select and purchase a particular item.

摘要: When traveling to a destination reported in a television broadcast or the like, the user has had to make a memo while watching the television and, when actually traveling by car, the user has had to enter necessary information into an in-vehicle terminal by looking at the memo. A broadcast provider broadcasts a travel program together with travel destination information related to it, and a television terminal presents the received broadcast and travel destination information to the user. If the user desires to travel to the destination thus presented, the television terminal downloads the received travel destination information into a memory card. When the user goes out by car at a later date, the in-vehicle information terminal acquires the travel destination information from the memory card, a route setting section sets the route by using travel destination location information contained in the travel destination information, and a communication section acquires real-time information by using a method of connection to a real-time information having the travel destination information.

摘要: Only the light at an overlapping wavelength of the transmission characteristics of at least two wavelength selecting filters is looped, and at least one of the wavelength selecting filters varies a selected wavelength. Since a loss due to the optical filters is small and there is not a loss caused by a highly reflecting film, the output of an external-resonator variable-wavelength laser can be increased. Optical circuit component (8) divides light input from external device (1) into at least two ports. Loop waveguide (11) interconnects at least ports (9, 10) divided by optical circuit component (8) in the form of a loop. At least two first wavelength selecting filters (12, 13) are inserted in series in a path of loop waveguide (11), and have periodic transmission characteristics on a frequency axis which are different from each other. At least one of first wavelength selecting filters (12, 13) varies the selected wavelength.

摘要: The X-ray equipment related to the embodiment is configured from a plurality of pressure rising units, a switching unit, and a switching control unit. The plurality of pressure rising units are connected to the battery unit and generate direct current voltage. The switching unit switches over the plurality of pressure rising units and supplies direct current voltage to the X-ray generating unit. The switching control unit transmits switching instructions to the switching unit for switching over the pressure rising unit after receiving voltage supply instructions with respect to the X-ray generating unit until said voltage supply instructions terminate. The switching control unit controls discharging of the condenser inside the pressure rising unit switched over by the switching instructions and the control of commencing charging of the condenser inside the pressure rising unit following termination of discharging.
