A second transistor is arranged on a path to ground from a connection point of the circuit to be protected and the line, and extracts, from a connection point, a current corresponding to a current flowing in the first transistor. The first and the second transistors are NPN bipolar transistors having a base and an emitter are commonly connected. The resonance system has a primary coil connected to the AC power source, a primary side resonance coil, a secondary side resonance coil, a secondary coil, and a load connected to the secondary coil. The primary side resonance coil is separated from the primary coil in an axial direction by a first distance, and the secondary coil is separated from the secondary side resonance coil in the axial direction by a second distance. At least one of the first distance and the second distance is adjusted to be a distance that is determined in advance in accordance with the impedance of the load so that the power transmission efficiency is maintained at a proper value.

    摘要: A step-up DC/DC converter uses N-channel field-effect transistors as both an output transistor and a synchronous-rectification transistor and includes a first driver making the gate voltage of the output transistor pulsate between a ground voltage and an input voltage and a second driver making the gate voltage of the synchronous-rectification transistor pulsate between a switching voltage and a bootstrap voltage equal to the switching voltage plus at least the ON threshold voltage of the synchronous-rectification transistor. With this configuration, the converter operates with improved power efficiency and performs synchronous rectification unhindered even with a small input-output voltage difference.

    摘要: One frame of a color image data is resolved into three frames of R, G, and B colors, which are displayed in sequence. In synchronism with the R, G, B frames, a power supply voltage for displaying each of the three frames is altered to predetermined levels set for the respective frames. Output voltage data for determining the voltage levels for red-, green-, and blue-frame are stored in rewritable forms, which are provided to the power supply circuit so that its output voltage is equilibrated to a reference voltage based on that output voltage data provided. The invention enables suppression of color temperature deviation due to variations in transmissivity of color filters while setting a common gradation level for the R, G, an B frames.
