Abstract: The present invention suggests a method for transmitting a broadcasting signal. Abstract: A method is provided for transmitting a broadcast signal in a transmitting system. Audio data of a broadcast service is generated. An audio frame coded by an Audio Compression-4 (AC-4) scheme is generated. The audio frame includes configuration information on the audio frame and at least one substream including the audio data and metadata for the audio data. The configuration information includes substream index information and substream size information. Real time Object delivery over Unidirectional Transport (ROUTE) packets containing the audio frame are generated. The ROUTE packets are processed to generate Internet Protocol (IP) packets. The IP packets are processed to generate link layer packets, and the broadcast signal including at least one data pipe that includes the link layer packets is transmitted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a signal transmission and reception apparatus and a signal transmission and reception method. An embodiment of the present invention provides a signal transmission method comprising: a step (S110) of encoding video data; a step (S120) of encoding a file format including the encoded video data, wherein the file format includes pre-filtering information for trick play; and a step (S130) of transmitting data including the encoded file format. According to an embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to provide trick play for an encoded stream more efficiently.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a providing a method and/or an apparatus for transceiving a broadcast signal for a panorama broadcast service. The method for transmitting a broadcast signal, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: encoding an image, multiplexing into a single broadcast stream, the encoded image and signaling information related to the image, wherein the signaling information includes signaling information related to a panoramic image; generating a broadcast signal including the multiplex broadcast stream; and transmitting the generated broadcast signal.

Abstract: A method to receive a broadcast includes parsing a first trigger for obtaining a first identifier for identifying a targeted Triggered Declarative Object (TDO), and a preparation trigger time for the targeted TDO; parsing a second trigger for obtaining an activation time and a termination time for the targeted TDO; activating the targeted TDO corresponding to the first identifier on a background, when a receiving time of the preparation trigger is before the preparation trigger time, immediately activating the targeted TDO corresponding to the first identifier on the background, when the receiving time of the preparation trigger is after the preparation trigger time; changing a state of the targeted TDO to a foreground, when a current system time is after the activation time; and terminating the targeted TDO, when the current system time is after the termination time.
