摘要: A belt unit includes a drive roller, a follower roller and an endless belt looped around the drive roller and follower roller, and formed of a resilient material. The drive roller transfers a first force based on the driving force to the endless belt to circularly move at a first velocity at a first boundary between the drive roller and the endless conveying belt. The first velocity provides a first fluctuation. The endless belt transfers a second force based on the first force to the follower roller to rotate. The endless belt moves at a second velocity at a second boundary between the follower roller and the endless belt. The second velocity provides a second fluctuation. A transmission parameter with respect to at least one of the drive roller, the follower roller and the endless belt is set so that the second fluctuation is smaller than the first fluctuation.

摘要: A binding device includes binding rings, a holding member having a length that enables the binding rings to be arranged at a distance from each other, and an operating member movably fixed inside the holding member such that the respective bases of the binding rings are secured onto a surface of the operating member at a distance to secure the binding rings to the holding member. In this binding device, the operating member is includes a pair of operating pieces which move within the holding member in a longitudinal direction of the holding member. The base of one of the binding rings is secured to one of the operating piece, and the base of the other binding ring is secured to the other operating piece. The operating pieces are fixed to the holding member such that abutting edges thereof are maintained in an abutting state at a location spaced from an inner surface of the holding member when the binding rings are closed, whereas and the abutting edges are maintained at a location closer to the inner surface of the holding member when the binding rings are opened, and an opening/closing member is provided for shifting the binding rings in an opening direction such that the operating pieces are moved in the longitudinal direction of the holding member within the holding member and are maintained at the location closer to the inner surface of the holding member when the binding rings are opened.

摘要: An air temperature sensor sensing an air temperature, supplied with a pulse signal as a driving signal from a pulse signal source, senses an air temperature based on the pulse signal. While the air temperature sensor is self-heated during an electrical current supplying time period by the pulse signal, it is cooled during an electrical current halting time period. Accordingly, the self-heating of the air temperature sensor by the driving signal is suppressed, and a thermal effect on air flow rate sensing elements disposed in an air flow downstream side of the air temperature sensor is also reduced.

摘要: A heating resistance flow rate measuring apparatus which can use a power source of an ECU in an automobile without requiring an expensive protective circuit and regulator. Heating of temperature detecting resistors themselves causes temperature changes on the windward and leeward sides, and these temperature changes depend on the amounts of heat generated by the temperature detecting resistors. The amounts of heat generated by the temperature detecting resistors depend on a voltage value of the ECU power source applied to the temperature detecting resistors, and an error is caused in a sensor output depending on a variation in the voltage of the ECU power source. Based on the finding that suppressing the amount of heat generated by the temperature detecting resistors is effective in avoiding the sensor output error caused depending on a variation in the output voltage of the ECU power source, means for suppressing the amount of heat generated by the temperature detecting resistors is disposed.

摘要: Supporting pieces (42) on side surfaces of a waiting-side connector (20) are insertable into supporting grooves (15) of a casing (10). Contact projections (47F, 47R) are on one outer wall surface (46) of each supporting piece near the upper end and bottom ends. A squeezable projection (55) is on an outer wall surface (44) opposite from the outer wall surface (46) where the contact projections (47) are provided. The squeezable projection (55) has a substantially triangular cross section and contacts a wall surface (13A) of the supporting groove (15) as insertion of the supporting piece (42) into the supporting groove (15) progresses. A tip of the squeezable projection (55) is squeezed at a final stage of the insertion to engage the supporting piece (42) with the supporting groove (15). Accordingly, the waiting-side connector (20) is supported in the casing (10) without shaking.

摘要: Fixing members (30) fixable to a circuit board (K) by soldering are mounted in a housing (10). Each fixing member (30) is comprised of a main panel (31) and a solder leg (32) projecting sideways from the bottom end of the main portion (31). The solder leg (32) has solder entering holes (37) that open at a side of the solder leg (32) toward the circuit board K and at a side opposite therefrom. Each solder entering hole (37) has a cross-section that gradually increases toward both upper and lower open ends (37a, 37b). A locking portion (38) is formed on each solder entering hole (37) and bulges more inward than both open ends (37a, 37b). The locking portion (38) locks solder (H) that enters the solder entering hole (37).
