摘要： Disclosed are benzothiazine derivatives represented by the following formula (I): ##STR1## The benzothiazine derivatives (I) and their salts according to the present invention have strong serotonin-2 blocking action, have excellent selectivity to this action against .alpha..sub.1 blocking action and have high safety. Accordingly, the present invention has made it possible to provide pharmaceuticals making use of antagonistic action against serotonin-2 receptors, for example, therapeutics for various circulatory diseases such as ischemic heart diseases, cerebrovascular disturbances and peripheral circulatory disturbances.

摘要： An ink jet recording head which includes a substrate for ink jet recording head and a nozzle structural body provided with a plurality of nozzle-forming walls which is disposed over said substrate for ink jet recording head, said substrate for ink jet recording head comprising a base member, a heat generating resistor capable of generating, upon energization, thermal energy to be utilized for discharging ink, a pair of electrodes electrically connected to said heat generating resistor, a first protective layer, and a second protective layer wherein said heat generating resistor and said pair of electrodes are arranged on said base member, and said first protective layer and said second protective layer are disposed in this order over said heat generating resistor and said pair of electrodes, wherein a plurality of given portions of said second protective layer each situated at a position where said nozzle structural body is joined through one of said nozzle-forming walls to said substrate for ink jet recording head are recessed while leaving opposite stepped portions of said second protective layer situated above said pair of electrodes. A ink jet recording apparatus provided with said ink jet recording head.

摘要： A method and apparatus for making a cylindrical package in which a cylindrically shaped coil of a long steel strip having a peripheral surface, two end surfaces and a hollow cylindrical center is completely wrapped with a wrapping sheet material so as to have neatly folded closures on both end surfaces with a ring member inserted into the cylindrical hollow center of the coil. At first the wrapping sheet is wrapped around the coil so as to project from either end of the coil by a length l greater than the thickness t between the outermost layer and the innermost layer of the coil. The projecting portions are folded onto the end surfaces by pusher plates with pleat forming rods provided therebetween to form crease lines. The pleated portions of the sheet are flattened onto the folded sheet by the sliding action of pusher plates, and then a ring member is fitted into the cylindrical hollow center of the coil at either end with the edges of the folded sheet pressed underneath so that the wrapping is completed without use of an adhesive.

The lead-out electrode includes a first electrode which is electrically connected to a coil conductor and which has an exposed part exposed on an outer surface and a second electrode which has an exposed part exposed on the outer surface to extend an electrode width different from an electrode width of the first electrode and which is formed directly above the first electrode and electrically connected to the first electrode.
