    摘要： The invention relates to the use of mass labelled probes to characterise nucleic acids by mass spectrometry. Thus the invention provides methods of detecting the presence of a target nucleic acid in a sample, using a circularising probe in which a mass tag is present in the probe. Further methods of detecting the presence of a target nucleic acid are provided, which in contrast use a probe detection sequence in the circularising probe, wherein the probe detection sequence is detected with a probe attached to a mass tag. Methods for determining a genetic profile from the genome of an organism also form part of the invention.

The inner and outer toe ends are aligned and joined wale stitch to wale stitch to form a composite toe end, which is closed to provide a flat toe seam 10. The layered sock is manufactured complete in a single process being knit continuously from the inner toe end to the outer toe end. It comprises reciprocated heel and toe portions. The foot portion of the inner layer is knit from a yarn with properties such as a low coefficient of friction and/or antifungal/antibacterial properties. The low friction fiber is a fluoropolymer such as polytetrafluroethylene. The outer layer may comprise a cushion structure.

    摘要： A dry sprinkler assembly includes a housing, a sprinkler head assembly with a sprinkler head and a trigger assembly, and an actuator assembly. The actuator assembly has a sealing subassembly for sealing the inlet port of the housing and is operatively coupled to the trigger assembly such that the sealing subassembly releases the sealing of the inlet port in response to the trigger assembly releasing its closure at the outlet opening. The sealing subassembly moves in a linear path substantially parallel with the central longitudinal axis of the housing when releasing the sealing of the inlet port wherein the flow of fire suppressant through the inlet port and into the fluid flow passage is substantially unimpeded.
