摘要： A propeller shaft in a motor vehicle includes a plurality of shaft members and a plurality of joints operatively coupled between the shaft members, between the engine of the motor vehicle and one of the shaft members, and between a differential coupled to drive wheels and one of the shaft members. At least one of the joints comprises a slidable tripod joint. The tripod joint gives the propeller shaft a desired torque transmission capability and axial sliding displacements, and enables the propeller shaft to have a practically sufficient service life for high-speed rotation.

摘要： A conical frustum shaped air cleaner comprised of a porous foam material in multiple layers. A cavity opening is formed at the center section of the flat bottom surface of the cleaner. The airflow resistance through the aforementioned foam material formed in the tapered side section of the cleaner is different from the airflow resistance through the foam material comprising the upper-surface section of the air cleaner. The desired airflow resistance is also controlled by selecting the appropriate number of layers, the appropriate thickness and the appropriate foaming ratio of the applicable foam materials that comprise the side-surface section and upper-surface section of the air cleaner.

摘要： Disclosed is a cover tape which comprises at least a base layer (A), an intermediate layer (B), a peeling layer (C), the primary component of which is a thermoplastic resin, and a heat seal layer (D), the primary component of which is a thermoplastic resin that can be heat sealed to a carrier tape. The tensile storage modulus (c) of the thermoplastic resin that constitutes the peeling layer (C) is within the range of 1×106 Pa to 1×108 Pa. The tensile storage modulus (d) of the thermoplastic resin that constitutes the heat seal layer (D) is within the range of 1×108 Pa to 1×1010 Pa. The ratio of (c) and (d) satisfies 1×104≧(d)/(c)≧1×10. This kind of cover tape has the appropriate peel strength and sufficiently low fluctuation in peel strength when heat sealed to a thermoplastic resin carrier tape. Therefore, the tape will not tear even under shock caused by high-speed peeling, and sticking of electronic parts does not occur even when set aside for a long period of time of 24 to 72 hours in a high-temperature environment of 60 to 80° C.
