摘要: A miniaturized optical disk apparatus which performs a pull-in of a focus servo and a pull-in of a tracking servo without a position detector for detecting an optical head. If the optical head is located at a non-reflection film area and thus the focus servo cannot be performed, then the optical head is moved and the focus servo is performed again. This process is repeated until the focus servo can be achieved. In addition, if the optical head is located at a non-track area, then the optical disk is moved to a track area and then the tracking servo is performed. This process also repeated until the optical head is located over the track area. The tracking servo can be stably performed since it is performed only when the optical head is located over the track area. The present invention is applicable to the optical disk apparatus which uses a 3.5 in optical disk.

摘要: An injection plug device for injecting a concrete repairing agent into a concrete construction through an arcuate injection groove formed therein. The plug device includes a base member sealingly placed over an open end of the arcuate injection groove, a plurality of guide posts extending from the base member, an equal plurality of rod members extending through the guide posts, and engageable member selectively engageable with side walls of the arcuate injection groove by resilient deformation. The engageable members are provided at an inner end portion of the guide posts, or an external surface of the inner end portions of the guide posts. The engageable members have a width smaller than a width of the arcuate injection groove prior to their deformation and have another width larger than the width of the arcuate injection groove after their deformation to provide engagement with the side wall of the groove. The injection plug device is used for achieving a method for injecting a concrete repairing agent into the concrete construction. The method includes the steps of forming the arcuate injection groove, placing the base member over the open end of the injection groove in placing the injection plug device on the concrete construction, and engaging the engageable member with the groove for fixing the plug device to the concrete construction.

摘要: A leaf panel bundling apparatus allows leaf paper to be bundled to be inserted into the apparatus from either the front or the top of the apparatus. The leaf paper bundling apparatus wraps a tape around many leafs of paper which have been stacked, uses a cutter to cut the wrapped tape and uses a thermo-adhesion head to adhere the ends of the tape to one another so as to bundle the leaf paper. A leaf paper insertion opening portion has a slit extending to a location above the front portion of the main apparatus unit and into which leaf paper can be inserted from the front or top of the apparatus. A leaf paper regulation device receives a leaf paper lower edge and a leading edge which is the edge to be located furthest from the front of the main apparatus unit after insertion. A tape supply device supplies tape to be wrapped around the periphery of the leaf paper, applies tension to and tightens the wrapped tape. A tape winding device has an arm which can hold an end of the tape fed from the tape supply device and can orbit from a standby position to wrap the tape around the leaf paper. A leaf paper holding device is also provided to facilitate the tightening of the wrapped tape and holds the leaf paper to both sides of the tape in the direction of the width of the wrapped tape.

摘要: A magneto-optic recording medium has a cartridge provided with a magnetization direction indicating portion for indicating the direction of magnetization of a second magnetic layer. Alternatively, the direction of magnetization of the second magnetic layer is recorded in advance in the first magnetic layer. The direction of magnetization of the second magnetic layer indicated or recorded is detected and recognized. A magnetic field oriented in an opposite direction to the direction of magnetization detected is imparted to the magneto-optic recording medium. Alternatively, predetermined information is recorded in the first magnetic layer, the direction of magnetization of the second magnetic layer is detected on the basis of a signal reproducing that information, and the direction of a magnetic field to be applied to the magneto-optic recording medium is set on the basis of the direction of magnetization thus detected. In addition, the direction of the magnetic field to be applied to the magneto-optic recording medium is set and the output of a light beam is changed on the basis of the direction of the second magnetic layer detected.
