摘要: A gaming terminal having a wagering game. The wagering game includes a plurality of symbols that indicate a randomly selected outcome of the wagering game. In response to the randomly selected outcome being a win-deferral outcome, the wagering game provides a player with a selection of immediately obtaining a first award or obtaining a second award under a specified condition.

摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling a fuel-fired appliance is provided. The appliance enters a wait state in which burner operation ceases if a sensor indicates the presence of flammable vapors that are above an acceptable and/or safe vapor level. The appliance returns to a run state if the vapor level returns to an acceptable and/or safe vapor level within a period of time, but enters a lockout state if the vapor level does not return to an acceptable and/or safe vapor level within the period of time.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a gaming terminal and a method of playing a wagering game having a free-play outcome and a multiplier feature that changes during the free game-play. The free game-play continues until a winning combination is achieved. The award associated with the winning combination is multiplied by the multiplier value achieved during the free-game play.

摘要: A temperature sensor arrangement (100, 300) includes a sensor cavity (150), a temperature sensing element (330) being positioned along a center line (140, 340) of the sensor cavity (150) and generating a signal indicating temperature of air flowing thereto, and a generally cylindrical outer casing (105, 305) surrounding the sensor cavity (150). In one embodiment, the outer casing (105) includes a pattern of flow passages (110) for allowing air flow to the temperature sensing element (330) in the sensor cavity (150), the flow passages (110) being angled such that there is no direct line of air flow from an exterior of the outer casing (105) to the sensing element (330). In another embodiment, the flow passages (310) are arranged in an offset pattern relative to a center line (340) of the housing cavity (150), such that there is no direct line of air flow from an exterior of the outer casing (305) to the sensing element (330).

摘要: A system and method for sensor integration includes a medical device, a transmitter attached to the medical device, and a receiver. The medical device can include a tracking point. The transmitter can be connected to the medical device to minimize a distance between the tracking point and the transmitter. The transmitter can transmit a position signal. The receiver can receive the position signal. The signal may be employed to determine at least one of a position and orientation of the transmitter relative to the receiver. The transmitter may include electronic circuitry capable of measuring additional telemetry information and transmitting the telemetry in a telemetry signal. The transmitter may also transmit an identity signal.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method and system for performing automatic registration in medical imaging systems. One embodiment relates to a method of performing automatic registration comprising automatically locating at least one sensor having at least one known identifier. A coordinate is then determined for the at least one sensor, thereby performing automatic registration such that a visual model may be generated.

摘要: An automotive vehicle washing system includes a frame comprising a bridge member end opposed and support sections mounted for linear reciprocating movement on spaced apart support rails. Pivoting washing nozzle support arms are mounted on the bridge section and are interconnected by a drive motor and drive pulleys to move in opposite directions to wash the sides and opposite ends of a vehicle. Each arm includes movable arm sections supporting spaced apart nozzle assemblies which may move toward each other or away from each other to size a vehicle according to its width. Each arm includes opposed elongated beam members which also provide fluid conducting passages for conducting washing fluids to the nozzle assemblies. Certain ones of the nozzle assemblies are drivenly connected to an oscillating servomotor. The servomotor is also used to position the pivoting arm sections through a lost motion coupling and a gear drive unit.
