Abstract:
A drive device with an electric motor with permanent magnets and a pole top more particularly for use with servo drives in motor vehicles. A relay is provided for switching the motor current with at least one electromagnet, which contains a relay coil and a relay armature, and with at least one relay contact. The relay is mounted in the pole top of the electric motor and the magnetic field lines of the electromagnets are closed through the permanent magnets and the pole top of the electric motor.
Abstract:
An apparatus and methods for cold spraying with a spraying unit, a particle supply, a gas supply, and at least one heating unit. The heating unit contains a graphite felt that can be heated with an electric heater current, through which a gas stream can flow, wherein the at least one heating unit is arranged separately and/or in a pressure tank through which the gas stream can flow.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling and adjusting a motor-driven adjusting device, especially a window lifter, a seat adjusting device or a sliding roof of a motor vehicle, comprising an anti-jamming protection. The motor drive is switched off or blocked at a value below a predetermined load limit when said predetermined load limit is exceeded. The aim of the invention is to provide a method with which the adjusting device is subjected to as little loads as possible under all operating conditions. To this end, state variables of the motor drive are continuously detected and the load actually generated by the motor drive is determined from said state variables on the basis of a mathematical model of the drive.
Abstract:
A method for producing a pipe, a carrier element being coated by means of a thermal spraying method, the material of the pipe formed later being selected as the coating material, and the coating forming the pipe being detached from the carrier element, the spraying angle, at which the coating material is sprayed onto the carrier element, being selected such that a low level of adhesion of the coating on the carrier element is achieved.
Abstract:
A memory retention and support system includes a memory chassis. A board is mounted to the memory chassis. A memory connector is mounted to the board and includes a pair of guide members at opposite distal ends of the memory connector and a pair of opposing outer walls extending between the guide members. A connector reinforcing member engages the memory connector to urge the guide members toward each other and to urge the opposing outer walls toward each other. A damping member is operable to be positioned adjacent to and spaced apart from the memory connector in order to engage a memory module when the memory module is coupled to the memory connector. The connector reinforcing member and the damping member act to resist a discontinuities between a plurality of memory contacts on the memory module and a plurality of connector contacts on the memory connector.
Abstract:
A gas supply system for a side blowing and/or bottom blowing metallurgical furnace with at least one tuyere which is mounted in the side wall and/or in the bottom of the furnace, wherein gas is conveyed through a line of the gas supply system to the tuyere and through the tuyere to the interior of the metallurgical furnace and emerges there in the form of bubbles. The gas supply system has an inflow restrictor which is assigned to the tuyere or is positioned upstream of the tuyere and reduces or interrupts the gas supply to the interior of the furnace at equal intervals of time.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a textile sheetlike structure (1), in particular for protection against biological and chemical noxiants and poisons, such as biological and chemical warfare agents. The sheetlike structure (1) having a textile support layer (2) and a first sheetlike piece (3) of activated carbon fibers which is laminated onto the support layer (2), wherein the sheetlike structure (1) further comprises a second sheetlike piece (4) of activated carbon fibers which is laminated onto the support layer (2) such that edges of the two sheetlike pieces (3, 4) touch and/or overlap and wherein the two sheetlike pieces (3, 4) are joined together by the support layer (2). This provides a seamless joining together of two or more sheetlike pieces to form a continuous sheetlike structure of activated carbon fibers to provide an improved material for use in the production of protective articles.
Abstract:
In order to increase the useful life of a golf club, at least part of the golf club in a region of the striking face is coated with a coating that is neutral in terms of stress or has compressive stresses. The coating is applied by a thermal spraying method with average spray-particle velocities of over 500 m/s. The coating preferably has compressive stresses of between 0 and 600 MPa.
Abstract:
A monitoring circuit for a data transmission network having a plurality of transmissive and receptive network nodes and a double-line bus connecting the network nodes and serving for redundant double transmission of digital communications, with a first line (A) and a second line (B) via which communication pulses transferred in the form of time-spaced pulse sequences are transferred in synchronous manner in terms of time slot, a potential change detector is provided by means of which the two lines can each be monitored for the presence of potential change activities and by means of which a condition can be detected in which, during a pulse sequence, potential change activities occur only on the first line, but not on the second line; and a first time measuring circuit is provided by means of which a time measurement of the duration of such a condition can be carried out, and when a predetermined duration of such a condition is exceeded, an error signal is generated.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a golf club with a striking surface for striking golf balls. The golf club has a coating applied by a thermal spray method at least in the area of the striking surface. The club coatings are preferably applied by a high-speed flame spray method or by a cold gas spray method. For coating golf clubs by hot spraying, in particular metals, metal alloys, oxides, (especially Al2O3 and/or TiO2), carbides, borides, plastics, or mixtures of the above substances can be used as the spray materials.
