The invention relates to a method for controlling and adjusting a motor-driven adjusting device, especially a window lifter, a seat adjusting device or a sliding roof of a motor vehicle, comprising an anti-jamming protection. The motor drive is switched off or blocked at a value below a predetermined load limit when said predetermined load limit is exceeded. The aim of the invention is to provide a method with which the adjusting device is subjected to as little loads as possible under all operating conditions. To this end, state variables of the motor drive are continuously detected and the load actually generated by the motor drive is determined from said state variables on the basis of a mathematical model of the drive.

The tolerances are determined and considered in signal evaluation on a partitioned basis. Measurement errors caused by inaccuracies of the signal generator due to manufacturing difficulties are greatly reduced or eliminated such that use of signal generators without particularly high quality specifications is possible. Thus, use of less exact components in generation and detection is possible.

The surface properties, in particular the surface finish and the surface reactivity can be adjusted and optimised to match the application by means of the plasma treatment.

The process has a mutation which lies in the sequence region of the amino acid in position 97 up to and including the amino acid in position 273 or the deletion lies in the carboxy terminal sequence region as from the amino acid in position 227, position 1 being the starter methionine of FIG. 5 (SEQ ID NO:1) and the mutation from Met to Ile in position 256 being excluded.

The device also includes an evaluation circuit, that delivers an acceptance signal only when a conformity signal has been present at the output of the comparison circuit for each address word segment of this address word.
