Abstract: Networks that support 5G communication may support different numerologies across and even within a symbol, slot, or subframe. Sequences, such as reference signals or data scrambled with a scrambling code, may be transmitted on resources with such mixed numerologies. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a user equipment. The UE may be configured to receive an indication of assigned resources for communicating with a base station. The UE may also be configured to determine a numerology associated with the assigned resources, and to determine one or more indices based on the numerology. The UE may also generate a sequence based on the one or more indices and communicate with the base station based on the sequence.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE, first control information indicating a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for use in sidelink communications between the first UE and the second UE. The first UE may receive, from the second UE, second control information indicating a second TCI state for use in sidelink communications between the first UE and the second UE, where a first application time of the first TCI state conflicts with a second application time of the second TCI state. The first UE may select, in accordance with one or more rules for resolving sidelink TCI state conflicts, one of the first TCI state or the second TCI state as a selected TCI state. Accordingly, the first UE may communicate with the second UE in accordance with the selected TCI state.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating a dynamically scheduled transmission that overwrites a transmission in a semi-static scheduling occasion. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first control message, activating a first semi-static scheduling configuration and a second semi-static scheduling configuration for full duplex communication, wherein: the first semi-static scheduling configuration comprises a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasion and the second semi-static scheduling configuration comprises a configured grant (CG) occasion. The method may further include receiving a second control message dynamically scheduling a transmission that overwrites a downlink transmission in the SPS occasion or an uplink transmission in the CG occasion and taking one or more actions to communicate at least the transmission that overwrites the downlink transmission in the SPS occasion or the uplink transmission in the CG occasion.

A base station may send coupled configured grants to a transmitter user equipment (UE) and a receiver UE, respectively. For example, when transmitting a pair of configured grants that includes a first configured grant sent to a first UE and a second configured grant sent to a second UE, the base station may include an indication in each of the configured grants that sidelink semi-persistent scheduling resources are activated or deactivated. Additionally, the configured grants may indicate which UE is a receiver and which UE is a transmitter. For instance, the first configured grant may indicate that a first UE is to be the transmitter and a second configured grant indicate that a second UE is to be the receiver.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for reducing latency associated with performing some operations that use a reference signal. To illustrate, a user equipment (UE) may receive a reference signal and then may receive a message indicating one or more of an update of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state of the UE or a change in designation of a path loss reference signal (PL-RS) measured by the UE. If the reference signal is received within a threshold time period of receiving the message (or vice versa), the UE may perform the update or the change in designation of the PL-RS using one or more parameters determined using the reference signal.

Abstract: Techniques are provided in which changes to a bandwidth part (BWP) of a target user equipment (UE) are restricted during a processing window (PW) for measuring and processing reference signal (RS) resources.
