    摘要: A two-port isolator comprising a thin ferrite plate, a permanent magnet for applying a static magnetic field to the thin ferrite plate, first and second central conductors disposed substantially in a center portion of the thin ferrite plate and crossing each other with electric insulation, first and second input-output terminals each connected to an end of each of the first and second central conductors, a common terminal connected to the other ends of the first and second central conductors, a first matching capacitor connected between the first input-output terminal and the common terminal, a second matching capacitor connected between the second input-output terminal and the common terminal, and a resistor connected between the first input-output terminal and the second input-output terminal, wherein the DC resistance of the resistor is set, such that with loss in a high-frequency signal entering into the first input-output terminal and exiting from the second input-output terminal defined as insertion loss, and with loss in a high-frequency signal entering into the second input-output terminal and exiting from the first input-output terminal defined as isolation loss, the insertion loss is smaller than the isolation, and that the isolation loss increases as a static magnetic field applied to the two-terminal isolator from outside increases.

    摘要: An exhaust gas purifying system for an automotive internal combustion engine includes a NOx treating catalyst for reducing NOx disposed in an exhaust gas passageway of a combustion device, to reduce NOx in presence of reducing components in exhaust gas. Additionally, a hydrogen enriching device is disposed upstream of said NOx treating catalyst with respect to flow of exhaust gas from the combustion device and arranged to increase a ratio of hydrogen to total reducing components in at least one of combustion gas and exhaust gas so as to meet relations represented by following formulae (1) and (2), when reduction of NOx is carried out by the NOx treating catalyst: [H2/TR]d>[H2/TR]u  (1) [H2/TR]d≧0.3  (2) where [H2/TR]u is a ratio between a concentration [H2]u of hydrogen and a concentration [TR]u of total reducing components in at least one of exhaust gas in the exhaust gas passageway upstream of the hydrogen enriching device and combustion gas in a state before undergoing the hydrogen ratio increasing by said hydrogen enriching means; and [H2/TR]d is a ratio between a concentration [H2]d of hydrogen and a concentration [TR]d of total reducing components in exhaust gas in the exhaust gas passageway upstream of the NOx treating catalyst and downstream of the hydrogen enriching device.

    摘要: The invention relates to an exhaust gas purification system for removing carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide from an exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine. This system includes an upstream catalyst containing at least one selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium and rhodium, and a downstream catalyst that is arranged downstream of the upstream catalyst. This downstream catalyst contains platinum in an amount greater than that of platinum of the upstream catalyst. In the system, a first oxygen excess ratio of an exhaust gas at an inlet of the upstream catalyst may be adjusted to at least 0.9, and a second oxygen excess ratio of an exhaust gas at an outlet of the upstream catalyst and at an inlet of the downstream catalyst may be adjusted to at least 0.1. Alternatively, a first air-fuel ratio of an exhaust gas at an inlet of the upstream catalyst may be adjusted to at least 14.5, and a second air-fuel ratio of an exhaust gas at an outlet of the upstream catalyst and at an inlet of the downstream catalyst may be adjusted to at least 13.3. The system is capable of removing even slightly oxidizable hydrocarbons.
