Abstract: A system may comprise: an excitation current source; a first electrode coupled to the excitation current source; and a second electrode coupled to the excitation current source. The first and second electrodes may be configured to pass an excitation current from the excitation current source through a human body. First and second calibration resistors may be coupled to and positioned between the excitation current source and the first electrode. Third and fourth calibration resistors may be coupled to and positioned between the excitation current source and the second electrode. The system may also comprise a sensor configured to measure voltages across each of the first, second, third, and fourth calibration resistors.

The DAC includes one or more switches corresponding to the one or more current elements. A feedback switch is coupled between the one or more switches and a feedback node of the amplifier. The DAC provides a feedback voltage at the feedback node of the amplifier.

Abstract: In an embodiment, method of controlling an illumination device by an output signal of a DC-DC converter is disclosed. The output signal is controlled by a PWM signal. The method includes receiving a feedback signal corresponding to variation in the output signal with respect to a pre-determined output signal, and determining a target duty cycle of the PWM signal based on the feedback signal. The PWM signal of the target duty cycle is capable of enabling the DC-DC converter to generate the pre-determined output signal. The method includes providing the PWM signal of an effective duty cycle equal to the target duty cycle over N switching pulses of the PWM signal to the DC-DC converter. The method provides the PWM signal by providing M switching pulses of a first PWM signal of a first duty cycle, and N−M switching pulses of a second PWM signal of a second duty cycle.

Abstract: A low noise amplifier for an RF sampling analog front end. The amplifier includes digital step attenuation for applying a selected attenuation to signals received at an input node, and a gain stage coupled to amplify the attenuated signal from the digital step attenuation circuit. In a differential amplifier implementation, a first input capacitor is coupled between a positive side input node and an output of the negative side digital attenuation circuit, and a second input capacitor is coupled between a negative side input node and an output of the positive side digital step attenuation circuit. In some embodiments, variable feedback circuits are coupled between each input node and an output of the corresponding gain stage, to selectively apply active termination at the input at high gain settings of the amplifier. Variable input and output resistors, and programmable noise filtering at the output, are provided in some embodiments.
