    摘要: A heat transfer recording material such as a heat transfer image-receiving sheet including a dye-receiving layer formed on the surface of a substrate film or a heat transfer sheet including a dye layer having a dye and a binder and formed on the surface of a substrate film. By containing a specific silane coupling agent in or on the dye-receiving layer or dye layer, this recording material can give a heat-transferred image which has excellent resistance to fingerprints and oils, such as plasticizers, and is of high density and resolution.

    摘要: Disclosed is an intermediate transfer recording medium for use in a method which comprises the steps of: forming an image using the intermediate transfer recording medium on an object; and forming a protective layer on the image. In this case, fastness properties can be fully imparted to the image, the protective layer can be transferred onto the image with high accuracy in a simple manner, blocking and the like attributable to the exposure of a pressure-sensitive adhesive do not take place, and the design and the fastness properties are excellent. An image forming method using the intermediate transfer recording medium is also disclosed. The intermediate transfer recording medium 1 comprises: a sheet substrate 4 provided with a resin layer 5; and a transparent sheet 2 provided with a receptive layer 3, the transparent sheet 2 provided with the receptive layer 3 having been put on top of the sheet substrate 4 provided with the resin layer 5 so that the resin layer 5 faces the transparent sheet 2 on its side remote from the receptive layer 3, the resin layer 5 being separable from the transparent sheet 2 to transfer the transparent sheet 2 provided with a receptive layer 3 onto an object, the transparent sheet 2 portion provided with the receptive layer 3 having been half cut (8) in a specific shape and in a predetermined width around the outer periphery of the region 7 to be transferred onto the object. A transfer image is formed on the receptive layer, and the portion with the image formed thereon is re-transferred onto an object to form an image on the object.

    摘要: A thermal transfer sheet is provided that can yield thermally transferred images, which possess excellent various fastness or resistance properties even under severe service conditions, and comprises a transferable protective layer having good transferability. In a thermal transfer sheet comprising a substrate sheet and a thermally transferable protective layer on the substrate sheet, the thermally transferable protective layer comprises a scratch-resistant layer which is repeatedly provided one by one for each picture plane unit in the thermal transfer sheet. An area of the scratch-resistant layer for each picture plane unit is smaller than an area of an object in its transfer surface. By virtue of this construction, at the time of the transfer of a protective layer onto an object, layer cutting does not occur within the scratch-resistant layer but within other layer (such as peel layer or adhesive layer), and, consequently, the protective layer can be transferred with good transferability.

    摘要: An object is to provide a fluorescent latent image transfer film which makes it possible to form a fluorescent latent image excellent in transferability and gradiation-property; a fluorescent latent image transfer method using the same; and a security pattern formed matter. To attain the object, there are provided a fluorescent latent image transfer film wherein a fluorescent ink layer formed of a resin binder comprising a fluorescent agent represented by the following formula (1) is formed on one surface of a heat-resistant substrate film; and a fluorescent latent image transfer method comprising the steps of putting this fluorescent latent image transfer film onto a transfer receiving material; heating the resultant in any pattern from the heat-resistant substrate film side of the fluorescent latent image transfer film by means of a heating element to transfer the fluorescent ink layer of the fluorescent latent image transfer film, correspondingly to the pattern of the heating element, onto the transfer receiving material, thereby forming a fluorescent latent image composed of the fluorescent agent on the transfer receiving material. wherein R1 is (n is a positive integer), and R2 and R3 each represents H or an alkyl group.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for preparing a printed product in which a transfer layer of an intermediate transfer recording medium can be transfer via a transferring adhesive layer having a suitable adhesive property to either one of the transfer layer and a transfer-receiving material, and thus transferred images do not have turbulence. This objects can be achieved by providing, a method for forming a printed product through that a transfer layer bearing an image is transferred on a transfer-receiving material via a transferring adhesive layer, characterized in that the method comprises following steps. The first step is preparing an intermediate transfer recording medium comprising at least a base film and the transfer, and an adhesive layer transfer sheet comprising at least a substrate sheet and the transferring adhesive layer comprising at least an uppermost layer and a basement layer. And the second step is carrying out a first transfer step in which the transferring adhesive layer is transferred on the transfer layer bearing the image in advance, and a second transfer step in which the transfer layer on which the transferring adhesive layer is transferred, transfers on the transfer-receiving material.

    摘要: A receptor layer transfer sheet, as intermediate transfer medium film, provided with a receptor layer to be transferred on a surface of a transfer-receiving material with an image preliminarily formed on the receptor layer comprises: a substrate film; an ionizing radiation (electron beam) hardening resin layer formed on the substrate film to be separable; and a receptor layer formed on the ionizing radiation hardening resin layer. The receptor layer is transferred together with the ionizing radiation hardening resin layer to the transfer-receiving material at a transferring process. A card-shaped printed product can be manufactured by using the receptor layer transfer sheet of the character mentioned above, in which an image is formed, through a sublimation thermal transfer process, on a receptor layer of a receptor layer transfer sheet. The receptor layer is transferred together with the ionizing radiation hardening resin layer on a card-shaped transfer-receiving material through a thermal transfer process.
