摘要: An object of the present invention is to control incoming data to be received by an appropriate communication destination by using a main device to monitor a traffic state of a wireless LAN and a user login state. A main device (1) for performing call control call control of wireless telephone (8, 8) determines a transmission destination (transfer destination) of a call received from, for example, a traffic state of the wireless-LAN base station (2, 3) or a login state of the wireless telephone, and transmits data to, for example, a public network (6), a local-area network, or an IP telephone network. In addition, the main device (1) preliminarily transmits data-reception notifying mail to a reception destination to enable a user to select a data-receiving method.

摘要: An electrically conductive polymer gel is composed of a crosslinked polyacrylamide polymer including an electrolytic salt, water and a polyhydric alcohol uniformly dissolved therein, wherein the water and the polyhydric alcohol are major components of said polymer gel. The polyacrylamide series polymer in the gel has properties of being hydrophilic and being a nonelectrolyte. Therefore, a desirable connection between the gel and the electrode can be achieved with low impedance. Moreover, the polyhydric alcohol reduces the drying speed of the electrically conductive polymer gel, thereby preventing an increase in the impedance due to the dryout of the gel. Therefore, the electrically conductive polymer gel of the present invention permits an accurate measurement of an electrical phenomenon in an organism for long periods of time.

摘要: A pipe coupler comprises a socket body having locking-ball receiving holes for receiving locking balls, a sleeve axially slidable on the socket body and a plug having an engaging groove for receiving the locking balls. The plug is detachably connected to the socket body due to operation of the sleeve. A step engageable with the rear side face of the engaging groove is formed on a portion of the socket body in a vicinity of the forward side of the locking-ball receiving holes. An axially movable and retractable ring is disposed in the engaging groove such that the ring is mounted on the portion of the socket body in front of the locking-ball receiving holes when the sleeve is free and retracts axially to engage the step so as to prevent the sleeve from advancing further when the ring coincides with the locking balls whereby the plug is locked to the socket body in a one-touch operation without flow loss. This structure ensures easy manufacture of a pipe coupler at a low cost.

摘要: In a wafer processing method, the back side of a wafer having a plurality of devices on the front side thereof is ground, thereby reducing the thickness of the wafer to a predetermined thickness. The back side of the wafer is polished after performing the back grinding step, thereby removing a grinding strain, and a silicon nitride film is formed on the back side of the wafer. The thickness of the silicon nitride film to be formed in the silicon nitride film forming step is set to 6 to 100 nm. Thus, the silicon nitride film having a thickness of 6 to 100 nm is formed on the polished back side of the wafer from which a grinding strain has been removed. Accordingly, each device constituting the wafer can ensure a sufficient die strength and a sufficient gettering effect.

摘要: This invention provides a simultaneous packet transmission system and a simultaneous packet reception system which enable a reception side to receive simultaneous packets without transmitting a retransmission request to retransmit discarded simultaneous packets even if part of simultaneous packets are discarded. A wireless LAN base station multicasts a simultaneous packet which is obtained by allocating a sequence number to a LAN packet a plurality of times. If a wireless LAN terminal receives the same simultaneous packets a plurality of times, the wireless LAN terminal discards duplicated simultaneous packets and leaves only one simultaneous packet. Since the simultaneous packet is multicast a plurality of times, the wireless LAN terminal can receive the simultaneous packet as long as all the same simultaneous packets are not lost.

摘要: A fast roaming system for changing, in a short period of time, the connection to a roaming destination AP (access point) providing a better communication environment, and for improving a roaming completion rate. In response to a search process performed by a mobile terminal, individual APs transmits AP data required for roaming directly to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal performs the passive scanning search or the active scanning search for the peripheral APs at short time intervals, and obtains and stores the latest AP data in an AP data table. As a result, only the latest data for the connectable peripheral AP can be stored as a roaming destination in the AP data table. Furthermore, since the order condition is set by the mobile terminal to select the roaming destination AP, there is a high probability that the roaming is completed when the peripheral AP is first selected. Therefore, only a short period of time is required until the roaming is completed.
