摘要: In an optical measurement system and imaging method adapted to measure in vivo information in a living body without harming the living body, light rays of a plurality of wavelengths which are modulated in intensity with a plurality of different frequencies are irradiated on a plurality of irradiation positions on the surface of a living body, and time-variable changes in living body transmitting light intensity levels corresponding to the respective wavelengths and the respective irradiation positions are measured at different positions on the surface of the living body. Light is utilized to image the results of the measurements, in which the measuring time is shortened by estimating fluctuation attributable to the living body, and the presence or absence of a change in measured signal can be decided easily by displaying an estimation signal and a measured signal at a time.

摘要: To control information obtained from inside of a living body with higher precision as compared to that in the conventional technology by controlling a ratio of intensities of light, directed to a trial body, in a plurality of wavelength ranges different in peak wavelength from each other, a measurement error included in information obtained from the living body can be controlled by changing a ratio of intensity of the light in the first wavelength range against that of the light in the second wavelength range. When intensity of irradiated light is limited from the viewpoint of safety to the trial subject, by keeping a ratio of the light irradiated to the trial body in the first wavelength range against that of the light in the second wavelength range under a prespecified value and also by changing the ratio of irradiated light intensities under the prespecified value, a measurement error included in information obtained from the living body can be controlled.

摘要: The invention provides optical technique for measuring metabolism in a living body that can further reduce an error in measurement even if distance between irradiation and detection is fixed. The living body is classified into measurement regions and different measuring wavelengths are set according to the classification. For example, the head is classified into four regions of a parietal region, a frontal region, a temporal region and an occipital region and a wavelength according to each tissue is set in a wavelength selecting system. In measurement, wavelengths according to each measurement region are selected by multiple wavelengths-light radiating means. Besides, for a region having large personal difference, premeasurement is made using plural combinations of wavelengths and wavelengths are selected using a calculated error in measurement as a criterion.

A state of detection signal level or a change in the state is displayed as a change in color or in pattern of the graphic element. Further, incident optical fibers for illuminating light to the test object and detection optical fibers for detecting light from the test object are mounted to the test object, and light emitting elements are mounted to probes to be mounted to the test object and interlocked with the change of the graphic elements.

摘要: Optical computed tomography equipment adapted to speed up the scanning of a subject under test using irradiated light so as to shorten the measuring time involved. The light from a light source (15-1, 15-2) is guided over an optical fiber thread (12-5c) to an image inverting optical system comprising a dovetail prism (13-1) and two lenses (14-2, 14-1). Past the optical system, the light enters one of the threads making up an optical fiber (12-1). As the dovetail prism (13-1) is rotated around its optical axis, the light from the optical fiber thread (12-5c) consecutively enters different threads of the optical fiber (12-1), causing the irradiation position to scan a subject (11) of the test. The incident light, having passed through the subject (11) in various directions, goes through the respective threads of the optical fiber (12-1) to reach the image inverting optical device. From there, the light enters the corresponding threads of an optical fiber (12-4) and is detected by photo detectors (16-2a, 16-2b, etc.).
