摘要： A USB peripheral device with a power connector, such as a card reader, which serves as a peripheral device when it is connected to a host device such as a smart phone, while which can directly charge the host device when a charger is plugged in, is disclosed. The peripheral device has a USB connector and a controller. The ID, D+, D− and VBUS pins of the USB connector are connected to the controller and the power connector through a plurality of relays depending upon whether the power connector is connected by a charger or not. The peripheral device can be automatically switched to serve as a B-device or a power bridge transferring power from the charger to the host device.

摘要： A lead frame for a light-emitting diode (LED). The lead frame includes a first lead and a second lead. Each lead includes a top portion and an integrated wire-clasping portion. The first and second top portions each angle away from the center of the lead frame to form an increasingly larger gap between the two leads. The wire-clasping portions of each lead initially lie in a common plane and are adjacent one another. After securing the wire to the wire-clasping portions of the lead frame, the leads of the lead frame are rotated or twisted approximately 90 degrees such that the wire-clasping portions of the leads are opposite one another, rather than lying in the same plane. The wires and attached lead frame are inserted into a lampholder, the lampholder recesses receiving the top tabs of the lead frame and holding the wires and lead frame in place.

The body portion is inserted substantially into the upper end of the first trunk portion with the tab of the upper portion aligned with the notch, thereby preventing rotation of the coupling mechanism within the upper end of the first trunk portion.

A plurality of wires are twisted together in a uniform, repeating pattern to define a group of twisted wires. The group of twisted wires extends through the central bore and is wrapped around the core to define a plurality of uniformly spaced longitudinal turns with a portion of each turn being positioned in one of the channels.
