摘要: An engine system includes: an exhaust path through which an exhaust gas of an engine passes; an urea injection valve that injects urea into the exhaust path; a catalyst that is provided in the exhaust path on a downstream of the urea injection valve, and that selectively reduces NOx by using ammonia acting as a reducing agent, the ammonia being generated by hydrolyzing injected urea from the urea injection valve; a heating portion that is capable of heating the catalyst and the injected urea; and a control unit that performs first control, in which the urea injection valve injects urea, the heating portion heats the injected urea to generate ammonia, or second control, in which the heating portion increases a temperature of the catalyst to a temperature at which NOx can be reduced, on a basis of an amount of ammonia adsorbed on the catalyst.

摘要: The character or nature of cooling water is correctly estimated. A cooling system for an internal combustion engine includes a radiator, a bypass passage which bypasses the radiator, a thermostat, and a control unit which changes a valve opening temperature of the thermostat. The cooling system for the internal combustion engine further includes an estimating unit which forbids valve opening of the thermostat and which estimates the character of the cooling water on the basis of temperature transition of the cooling water provided in this state.

摘要: The leg device includes a base portion, extendable legs rotatable with respect to the base portion, and leg support members for rotatably supporting the extendable legs, wherein the extendable leg includes the first tubular member having a fitting hole portion formed in the vicinity of the upper end thereof. The second tubular member that is adjustable with respect to its protruding length from the lower end of the first tubular member is inserted into the first tubular member. The leg support member includes a pivot portion rotatably fitted in the fitting hole portion. In a state where the extendable leg is contracted, the upper end of the second tubular member is positioned upward of the pivot portion.

摘要: A device for purifying the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine, which includes separate devices for purifying the particulates in the exhaust gas and a device for purifying NOx in the exhaust gas located integrally or separately in the exhaust system, is provided. At least two reducing material supply devices for supplying the reducing material to the device for purifying the particulates and the device for purifying NOx are arranged in the exhaust system. When the device for purifying the particulates or the device for purifying NOx requires a small amount of reducing material, one of the two reducing material supply devices supplies the required amount of reducing material to the exhaust system. When the device for purifying the particulates or the device for purifying NOx requires a large amount of reducing material, both of the two reducing material supply devices supply the required amount of reducing material to the exhaust system.

摘要: To provide a panhead in which operationality is excellent and an appropriate tilt fixing force can be obtained. A panhead comprises a pan rotation body which has a fixing notch portion and rotates in the left and right direction around a vertical axis. The panhead comprises a tilt rotation body which has a fixing notch portion and rotates in the up-and-down direction around a horizontal axis. The panhead comprises an attaching-object support body to which an attaching object can be attached and an operation body which is provided on the tilt rotation body so as to be capable of rotating operation. By a one-action rotating operation of the operation body, the tilt rotation body and the pan rotation body are respectively fixed. The front-end portion of the fixing notch portion of the pan rotation body is blocked by a blocking portion for deformation suppression.

摘要: An exhaust purifying method and apparatus of an internal combustion engine are provided with an exhaust switch valve for switching a flow of exhaust gas flowing into an exhaust filter. By switching the exhaust switch valve, the exhaust gas is fed from one side and the other side of the filter, thereby stirring the soot (particulates) in the exhaust gas deposited on the filter having a NOx absorbent and an active-oxygen discharging agent supported thereon. Thus, the soot in the exhaust gas is continuously burned. Moreover, the switching of the exhaust switch valve and the rich spike are inhibited from being conducted simultaneously. In the case where the rich spike is conducted in order to discharge and reduce NOx absorbed in the NOx absorbent, the exhaust gas containing a large amount of HC and CO can be prevented from being discharged into the atmosphere without being purified.

The particulate filter includes a collecting wall for collecting the particulates, which includes a first collecting surface and a second collecting surface. The first and the second collecting surfaces are alternately used for collecting the particulates by the reversing device. The catalyst device is arranged adjacent to the particulate filter at a position always being at the downstream side of the particulate filter.

摘要: The present device for purifying the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine comprises a particulate filter 70 on which the trapped particulates are oxidized and reversing means 74 for reversing the exhaust gas upstream side and the exhaust gas downstream side of the particulate filter. The particulate filter has a trapping wall for trapping the particulates. The reversing means reverses the exhaust gas upstream side and the exhaust gas downstream side of the particulate filter so that the first trapping surface and the second trapping surface are used alternately to trap the particulates. The particulate filter has a first opening portion and a second opening portion through which the exhaust gas flows in and out from the particulate filter and is arranged in the exhaust pipe 71 upstream of the muffler. At least part of the circumferential portion of the particulate filter between the first opening portion and the second opening portion is in contact with the flow of the exhaust gas in the exhaust pipe.

摘要: A device for purifying the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The device has a particulate filter arranged in the exhaust system on which the trapped particulates are oxidized, and a reversing mechanism for reversing the exhaust gas upstream side and the exhaust gas downstream side of the particulate filter. The particulate filter has a trapping wall. The trapping wall has a first trapping surface and a second trapping surface. The reversing mechanism reverses the exhaust gas upstream side and the exhaust gas downstream side of the particulate filter so that the first trapping surface and the second trapping surface are used alternately to trap the particulates. The device can improve the amount of particulates that can be oxidized and removed on the particulate filter.

摘要: The invention includes a base (21) provided with pairs of fitting hole (25), two each of which are spaced apart and situated facing each other so as to constitute a pair. A pair of rotary shaft portions (28) of each first leg member (27) are rotatably fitted in each pair of fitting holes (25). The two rotary shaft portions (28) are formed on the outer surface of the upper end portion of each first leg member (27) as an integral body therewith so as to extend coaxially. A second leg member (29) is inserted in each first leg member (27) in such a way that the distance by which the second leg member (29) projects from the first leg member (27) can be adjusted. As the top end face of each second leg member (29) can be positioned flush with the top end face of the associated first leg member (27), the invention is capable of improving the telescopic extension ratio of the legs.
