摘要: A camera takes an image or images of a region including a vehicle (vehicle-in-front) running in front of a driver's own vehicle. A wheel information acquiring unit acquires the positional information of a wheel or wheels of the vehicle-in-front in the image taken by the camera. More specifically, the boundary between the wheels of the vehicle-in-front and the road surface. The processing for detecting the boundary is done by use of the difference in the brightness between the wheels and the road surface of the vehicle-in-front. A camera attitude correcting unit corrects the detected boundary by use of a self-calibration function, and a road surface condition estimating unit estimates the conditions of the road surface on which the vehicle-in-front is traveling.

摘要: A heat seal bar is mounted on and removed from a heater unit in a plastic bag making machine without difficulty, An insert is received and fixed to a receiving recess formed in the heat seal bar. A tension pin is supported by the heater unit, inserted into an adjacent recess, and then inserted into an axial groove through an axial opening. The tension pin is pulled and moved axially thereof by an actuator member at the heater unit until a head of the tension pin engages an inward protrusion of the insert. The tension pin and the insert cooperate to mount the heat seal bar on the heater unit.

摘要: An adhesive film includes a film-like adhesive layer and a pair of separators sandwiching the adhesive layer. The outer edges of both separators extend outward beyond the outer edge of the adhesive layer, and a blade is used to form a notch on the adhesive layer side of the heavy release separator, along the outer edge of the adhesive layer. The thickness of the heavy release separator is between 50 μm and 200 μm, the average notch depth is between 5 μm and 45 μm and the standard deviation for the notch depth is no greater than 15 μm. Specifying the notch depth allows complete cutting of the adhesive layer with the blade, while also limiting release problems between the heavy release separator and the adhesive layer.

摘要: In an autofocusing zoom lens, a depth of focus ε is obtained based on an aperture value Fno of a variable diaphragm and a diameter of a permissible circle of confusion δ. A focal position variation amount Δsk for a predetermined positional displacement amount ΔFp0 of a focusing lens unit is obtained according to a position Fp of the focusing lens unit and a variable magnification state Zp. If a predetermined variation amount ΔFp of the focusing lens unit satisfies a first condition, the focusing lens unit is not driven. If the first condition is not satisfied and a second condition is satisfied, the focusing lens unit is driven based on a second autofocusing unit, and if the second condition is not satisfied, the focusing lens unit is driven based on a first autofocusing unit.

摘要: An optical system (101) forms an optical image on an imager (102), the image is made spatially discrete for transformation into a sampled image signal, and the image signal is separated at a band separation processing block (105) into a high-frequency component and a low-frequency component. At a super-resolution target frame selection block (106), a frame to which super-resolution processing is to be applied is selected out of the separated low-frequency component image for forwarding to an interpolation and enlargement processing block (109). super-resolution processing is implemented by a motion estimation block (107) and a high-resolution image estimation block (108) adapted to estimate image date having a pixel sequence at a high resolution. At a high-resolution image computation area determination block (112), an area in the image, to which high-resolution image estimation computation is to be applied, is determined, and the output of the high-resolution image estimation computation block (108) is forwarded to a combining computation processing block (110).
