摘要: An electronic timepiece includes a frequency supply for providing a relatively high frequency time base signal, a frequency converter responsive to the relatively high frequency time base signal to provide a timing signal, a clock signal, and a time unit signal. A timekeeping circuit is responsive to the time unit signal to provide a time information signal, and at least one of the timing signal, clock signal, and time information signal is chopped into periodic bursts to effect transfer of the at least one of the timing signal, clock signal, and time information signal from one part to another part in the timepiece. The time in response to the time information signal is displayed.

摘要: An electronic timepiece equipped with an alarm system in which a single external control member is used as both a snooze switch and an alarm stopping signal. The timepiece has a switching circuit means for generating a snooze signal when the external control member is actuated in a predetermined actuation mode and generating an alarm stopping signal when the external control member is actuated in another predetermined actuation mode. The timepiece includes a snooze control circuit responsive to the snooze signal to temporarily stop an alarm generated by an alarm device, and means for interrupting an alarm enabling signal from being applied to the alarm device to stop the alarm.

摘要: A reactor 1 of the present invention includes: a combined product 10 provided with a coil 2 and a magnetic core 3 where the coil 2 is disposed; and a case 4 storing the combined product 10. The case 4 includes: a bottom plate portion 40 fixed to a fixation target when the reactor 1 is installed in the fixation target; a side wall portion 41 attached to the bottom plate portion 40 to surround the combined product 10; and a heat dissipation layer 42 formed on the inner face of the bottom plate portion 40 to be interposed between the bottom plate portion 40 and the coil 2. The bottom plate portion 40 is made of aluminum, and the side wall portion 41 is made of an insulating resin. The heat dissipation layer 42 is made of an adhesive agent whose thermal conductivity is high and which exhibits an excellent insulating characteristic. Since the bottom plate portion 40 is structured as a separate member from the side wall portion 41, the heat dissipation layer 42 can easily be formed and, moreover, the heat dissipation layer 42 can be made of a material possessing an excellent heat dissipating characteristic. Since the insulator 5 evenly presses the coil 2 against the heat dissipation layer 42, an even more excellent heat dissipating characteristic is achieved.

摘要: A reactor of the present invention includes a coil 2, a magnetic core 3 in which the coil 2 is disposed, and a case that stores a combined product 10 made up of the coil 2 and the magnetic core 3. The case includes a bottom plate portion 40 made of a metal material, and a sidewall portion that is attached to the bottom plate portion 40 to surround the combined product 10. A joining layer 42 that fixes the coil 2 is provided at the inner face of the bottom plate portion 40. The region provided with the joining layer 42 has been subjected to surface roughening treatment. When anodic oxidation treatment is carried out as the surface roughening treatment, the bottom plate portion 40 includes an anodic oxide layer 43. The surface roughening treatment increases the contact area between the bottom plate portion 40 and the joining layer 42, whereby the joining strength between the bottom plate portion 40 and the coil 2 can be enhanced. Since the bottom plate portion 40 and the coil 2 are strongly joined to each other, the heat of the coil 2 can be efficiently transferred to the installation target via the bottom plate portion 40. Thus, an excellent heat dissipating characteristic is exhibited.

摘要: A method and apparatus for separating solid supports formed of magnetic particles on which immunocomplexes are bound, from a liquid phase includes a reaction container containing a fluid in which magnetic particles having immunocomplex bound thereon are suspended. The reaction container is positioned at a flock forming station, where the fluid is subjected to an alternate current magnetic field having a temporally varying intensity by an electromagnetic. The magnetic particles are flocculated with each other due to the application of such varying magnetic field to form a multiplicity of flocks. A stronger magnetic field then is applied to the resulting contents in the reaction container by a permanent magnet. The flocks are magnetically fixed on the inner wall surface of the reaction container by the action of the stronger magnetic field. While the magnetic particles are being fixed on the inner wall surface, a nozzle is inserted into the reaction container to suck the unnecessary liquid phase and remove it from the reaction container.
