摘要: In a wafer processing method, the back side of a wafer having a plurality of devices on the front side thereof is ground, thereby reducing the thickness of the wafer to a predetermined thickness. The back side of the wafer is polished after performing the back grinding step, thereby removing a grinding strain, and a silicon nitride film is formed on the back side of the wafer. The thickness of the silicon nitride film to be formed in the silicon nitride film forming step is set to 6 to 100 nm. Thus, the silicon nitride film having a thickness of 6 to 100 nm is formed on the polished back side of the wafer from which a grinding strain has been removed. Accordingly, each device constituting the wafer can ensure a sufficient die strength and a sufficient gettering effect.

摘要: This invention provides a simultaneous packet transmission system and a simultaneous packet reception system which enable a reception side to receive simultaneous packets without transmitting a retransmission request to retransmit discarded simultaneous packets even if part of simultaneous packets are discarded. A wireless LAN base station multicasts a simultaneous packet which is obtained by allocating a sequence number to a LAN packet a plurality of times. If a wireless LAN terminal receives the same simultaneous packets a plurality of times, the wireless LAN terminal discards duplicated simultaneous packets and leaves only one simultaneous packet. Since the simultaneous packet is multicast a plurality of times, the wireless LAN terminal can receive the simultaneous packet as long as all the same simultaneous packets are not lost.

摘要: A fast roaming system for changing, in a short period of time, the connection to a roaming destination AP (access point) providing a better communication environment, and for improving a roaming completion rate. In response to a search process performed by a mobile terminal, individual APs transmits AP data required for roaming directly to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal performs the passive scanning search or the active scanning search for the peripheral APs at short time intervals, and obtains and stores the latest AP data in an AP data table. As a result, only the latest data for the connectable peripheral AP can be stored as a roaming destination in the AP data table. Furthermore, since the order condition is set by the mobile terminal to select the roaming destination AP, there is a high probability that the roaming is completed when the peripheral AP is first selected. Therefore, only a short period of time is required until the roaming is completed.

摘要: Voice clauses are divided and transmitted as packet data in divided clause units in a transmission side. The voice data is outputted as voice based on the received packet data in clause units in a receipt side. Thus, the meaning of speech is even able to be recognized in a deteriorated communication path environment.

摘要: The present invention makes it possible to expand wireless LAN areas without installing a plurality of LAN base stations or wireless LAN repeaters. A wireless LAN terminal has not only a wireless LAN terminal function to communicate with another wireless LAN base station, but also a wireless LAN base station function to communicates with a wireless LAN terminal. The wireless LAN terminal encapsulates a wireless LAN signal sent from another wireless LAN terminal and sends the encapsulated signal to the wireless LAN base station. The wireless LAN base station encapsulates a wireless LAN signal destined for a wireless LAN terminal and sends the encapsulated signal to another wireless LAN terminal.

摘要: A VoIP system has a VoIP server and plural clients. The client transmits paging data as multicast packets addressed at a specific multicast address, to other clients. In response to a request from the client, the VoIP server transmits multicast packets of MOH data to the other clients. At this time, whether the other clients can receive multicast packets is determined. To the clients that are determined to be capable of receiving multicast packets, transmission data is sent in the form of multicast packets. To the client which belongs to a router and is determined to be incapable of receiving multicast packets, the transmission data is sent as unicast packets. It is thus possible for the VoIP system to support paging and MOH in the form of multicast packets, with respect to clients incapable of receiving multicast.
