    摘要: A display unit having a display memory property is constituted to be detachable from an attaching/detaching mechanism provided on a drive circuit substrate, so as to be attached to the attaching/detaching mechanism of the drive circuit substrate for rewrite of display information, and detached from the attaching/detaching mechanism of the drive circuit substrate after rewrite and moved to elsewhere while maintaining information displayed. Moreover, since it is constituted such that an actuation driver, having an expensive IC is mounted thereon, can be replaced rather than to be discarded or a drive circuit substrate can be replaced rather than to be discarded in a case where the display unit for displaying information such as an image causes a failure, it thereby achieves improvement of resource use efficiency by reusing the actuation driver having the expensive IC mounted thereon or the drive circuit substrate.

    摘要: In an AT-cut quartz resonator having excitation electrodes formed on two principal surfaces of an AT-cut quartz substrate, the two electrodes are displaced a predetermined amount apart in a direction orthogonal to the X-axis direction so that a frequency deviation in a temperature range of from -10.degree. C. to 50.degree. C. is less than .+-.2.5 ppm. Further, in an AT-cut quartz resonator in which vertically opposed electrodes on both principal surfaces of a quartz substrate are slightly displaced apart in opposite directions along the Z' axis of quartz crystal, a balancing load is formed on a piezoelectric substrate on the side opposite to the direction of displacement of the electrodes. Thus, the present invention dispenses with the need for raising the ratio of conforming to nonconforming quartz substrates by eliminating variations in their cutting angle, but makes it possible to use nonconforming quartz substrates to offer customers low-cost quartz resonators of oscillation frequencies following various specs, by making easy, simple structural modifications of slightly changing the electrode arrangement or structure, or by making simple improvements to the conventional quartz resonator manufacturing process. In the manufacture of oscillators for use in consumer-electronics equipment, it is possible to fulfill any particular specs without inserting a temperature compensating circuit in the oscillation circuit. In regards to industrial equipment, any adjustments need not be made to the temperature compensating circuit in the oscillation circuit, and this improves the productivity of various communications equipment and various electronics equipment and reduces their manufacturing costs.

    摘要: A scroll-type positive displacement apparatus which can be used as a vacuum pump is disclosed. A pair of interfitting scrolls are housed in a first container which communicates with a vacuum chamber to be evacuated by the pump. The scrolls are rotated in synchrony about parallel, nonaligned axis by a drive motor. The scrolls define a plurality of spiral compression chambers which change in size when the scrolls are rotated, compressing a gas contained in the compression chambers. The shaft of one of the scrolls has a discharge port formed therein which communicates between the centermost compression chamber and the inside of a second container which adjoins the first container. The second container is partially filled with lubricating oil and communicates with the atmosphere. The discharge port is equipped with a check valve which permits compressed gas to enter the second container from the scrolls but prevents gas from flowing in the opposite direction. The pump may be further equipped with one or more oil supply passageways formed in the shaft of the scroll in which the discharge port is formed. Lubricating oil is introduced via the oil supply passageway from the second container into one or more of the compression chambers of the pump.
