The device includes a millimeter wave generator; a TE10 mode rectangular waveguide transmitting a millimeter wave generated by the millimeter wave generator; and a plane parallel plate chosen to yield a minimal point of the power reflection coefficient of the millimeter wave incident to and reflected from the dielectric object under test via the TE10 mode rectangular waveguide and the plane parallel plate. The device also includes power detectors detecting the powers of the incident wave generated by the millimeter wave generator and the reflected wave from the dielectric object via the plane parallel plate; a temperature sensor measuring a temperature of the dielectric object; and a reader reading the minimum power reflection coefficient and a corresponding frequency from the incident and reflected wave detected by the power detectors.

    摘要: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for accurately measuring nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) longitudinal axis relaxation time by minimizing the influence of the amount of blood. The method includes applying a first magnetic field MO to a living body portion into which the blood flows magnetizing the blood in a first direction; applying a second magnetic field MZ to at least a portion of the living body portion, to which the first magnetic field MO is applied, magnetizing at least a portion of the blood in a second direction vertical to the first direction;; blocking MZ detecting a signal that is induced as magnetization is returned from the second direction to the first direction; detecting the amount of blood to which the second magnetic field MZ is applied; and calculating the longitudinal axis relaxation time T1 of the blood based on the induced signal and based on the amount of blood.

    摘要: An image distortion prevention apparatus and method are provided for preventing distortion of an image formed with light scanned by an optical scanner, the optical scanner operating in response to a mirror drive signal that determines a degree of deflection of the optical scanner. The apparatus includes a deflection sensing unit which senses a degree of deflection of an optical scanner when the optical scanner receives a horizon instruction signal or no signal; and a drive signal adjustment unit which adjusts a candidate drive signal according to the sensing result and outputs the adjusted candidate drive signal as a mirror drive signal.     摘要: A non-invasive blood glucose measurement method using a magneto-resonance absorption method. A constant magnetic field is applied using a pair of permanent magnets, the magnetic field having a uniform strength. A triangular waveform low frequency modulation magnetic field is applied using a low frequency generator and a pair of low frequency coils, the low frequency modulation magnetic field having a uniform strength. A weak acoustic wave modulation magnetic field is applied using an acoustic wave generator and a pair of acoustic wave coils. Electromagnetic waves are applied to a detector in which a finger is positioned to produce a nuclear magneto-resonance, the electromagnetic waves having a frequency varying in a specific frequency band step by step, the applying being done using a high frequency generator and a sensor coil. A magneto-resonance absorption signal produced by spin-lattice relaxation of protons in a tissue of the finger because of the nuclear magneto-resonance is detected. A magneto-resonance spin-lattice relaxation time of the finger from the magneto-resonance absorption signal is determined. A blood glucose concentration in a human body is determined from a correlation between a pre-determined blood glucose concentration in the human body and the determined magneto-resonance spin-lattice relaxation time.
