    摘要: A three-phase solid bowl screw centrifuge includes a rotatable drum, a screw arranged in the drum, a solid material discharge located at the fist axial end of the drum, and two liquid outlets are located at a second axial end of the drum. A first of the liquid is for a lighter liquid phase and a second of the liquid outlets is for a heavier liquid phase. One of the liquid outlets includes a skimmer disk arranged in a skimmer chamber and the other of the liquid outlets is formed as an overflow. Two regulating disks are located in the front of the skimmer disk. The regulating disks extend radially from an outside of the drum toward an inside of the drum. A siphon disk extends between the regulating disks and into the skimmer chamber from a interior circumference of the skimmer chamber to an exterior circumference of the skimmer chamber. An annular chamber is formed during an operation and is located between the siphon disk and the skimmer disk.

A disposable liner assembly includes a bowl liner having a cylindrical upper portion and conical lower portion, such that the bowl liner can conform to the interior surface of the separator bowl. The liner assembly further includes a piston within the bowl liner, the piston having an upper portion that conforms to the bowl liner cylindrical upper portion and a lower portion that conforms to the bowl liner conical lower portion. A fluid pathway extends through the piston, with a shuttle valve disposed within the fluid pathway.

The method comprises the liquid food product is caused to pass two separators connected in parallel, a first and a second, in which the product is divided up into a lighter and a heavier phase. The first separator is regulated so that the lighter phase will have a fat content which is less than 15%. The lighter phase from the first of the separators connected in parallel is led into the inlet conduit to the second of the separators connected in parallel.

    摘要: The invention relates to a centrifugal separator comprising a casing which delimits and seals off a space in which a rotor is arranged. The rotor forms a separation space which is sealed or isolated from the space, and in which separation space centrifugal separation of a higher density and a lower density component from a fluid takes place. An inlet extends into the rotor for introducing fluid to the separation space, and a first outlet extends from the rotor for discharge of a component separated from the fluid. The space is connected to a pump device which is arranged to remove gas, thereby maintaining negative pressure in said space. The rotor comprises at least one second outlet extending from the separation space to the space for discharge of at least one higher density component separated from the fluid. The invention also relates to a method in such a centrifugal separator.

A bearing is received in the axle cavity. A check valve is disposed in the axle cavity to minimize tampering, and the check valve is configured to control flow of the fluid from the inlet port. A rotor is configured to separate particulate matter from the fluid. The rotor includes an axle rotatably received in the bearing, and the axle defines a fluid passage to supply the fluid to the rotor. The check valve is normally biased towards a closed position where the flow of the fluid is shutoff. The axle is configured to open the check valve when the axle is received in the bearing.

    摘要: The invention refers to a centrifugal separator for cleaning of a gas containing liquid impurities. The centrifugal separator comprises a stationary casing, which encloses a separation space and has an inner wall surface. A rotating member is provided in the separation space and arranged to rotate in a direction of rotation around an axis (x) of rotation. The rotating member brings the gas to rotation for separation of the liquid impurities from the gas. A gas outlet is provided for discharge of the cleaned gas. A first liquid outlet is provided downstream the rotating member for discharge of separated liquid impurities. The separation space comprises an annular surface which extends between the rotating member and the inner wall surface. The annular surface is configured to transport liquid impurities radially outwardly to the first liquid outlet.
