摘要: The invention relates to a centrifugal separator comprising a casing which delimits and seals off a space in which a rotor is arranged. The rotor forms a separation space which is sealed or isolated from the space, and in which separation space centrifugal separation of a higher density and a lower density component from a fluid takes place. An inlet extends into the rotor for introducing fluid to the separation space, and a first outlet extends from the rotor for discharge of a component separated from the fluid. The space is connected to a pump device which is arranged to remove gas, thereby maintaining negative pressure in said space. The rotor comprises at least one second outlet extending from the separation space to the space for discharge of at least one higher density component separated from the fluid. The invention also relates to a method in such a centrifugal separator.

摘要: A cooling device for cooling of a seal fixed in a non-rotatable member and with a circumferential contact surface on a rotating member. A closed ring-formed chamber is arranged in the rotating member radially inside of the seal. The chamber contains an amount of cooling medium which at normal rotating operation is both liquid and gaseous, such that the liquid cooling medium which by centrifugal forces is pressed towards the outer wall of the chamber is evaporated from the heat generated by the seal, and where a cooling member is arranged on the rotating member to cool an area radially inside of the chamber, such that the gaseous cooling medium is condensed from the cooling effect of the cooling member. The invention also relates to a centrifugal separator comprising such a cooling device.

摘要: An apparatus for purifying, by membrane separation, a fluid in a membrane module 1 of pressurized aid purifiers. The fluid is brought to flow through a filtering unit 11 of the membrane module 1. The flow is circulated for efficiency. This recirculation of the fluid takes place within the filtering unit 11. The direction of flow of the fluid through a first flow segment 12 of the filtering unit 11 is opposite the direction of flow of the fluid through a second flow segment 13 of the filtering unit 11.

摘要: A device for purifying water comprises a filter unit (10) containing an osmotic membrane and provided with an inlet (11), a filtrate outlet (12), a return conduit (14) for a recirculating large flow of unfiltered water and having an outlet (22) for a small flow of reject water,According to the invention, two ion exchange units (17, 18) are arranged in parallel and connected to the filter unit (10) in such way that raw water entering the device is first passed through one of said ion exchange units to be softened, and that the reject water is passed in the opposite direction through the other ion exchange unit to regenerate the same. Valve means (19, 24) are provided for alternately shifting the ion exchange units between the functions of softening and regeneration.

摘要: The invention relates to a combustion process with cleansing of the waste gases by compressing, cooling and expanding said gases. The invention provides a continuous process in which highly contaminated low-grade fuels having a high water content can be effectively burned and the waste gases efficiently cleansed, by subjecting the cooled waste gases, together with residual non-desired substances, to a rapid drop in pressure in one or more stages by means of an expansion means (5), whereat the input drive power of the compressor (3), required for compressing said gases, is so high that the temperature downstream of the expansion means (5) is sufficiently low for the condensation and precipitation of frozen contaminants in the waste gases, together with ice crystals. The invention can be applied to all forms of combustion plants, primarily combined power and heating plants fired with fuel having a high sulphur and water content.

摘要: In a method of producing spacer elements between pairs of mutually facing membrane surfaces for a fluid purifier, to minimize the number of separate parts required in the assembly of a membrane module for the fluid purifier, the sides of mutually parallel strings of spacer material are joined with the surfaces obliquely to a longitudinal extension of the surfaces. The surfaces are turned to face one another with respective parallel strings intersecting and abutting one another.

摘要: A method of producing a fluid purifier membrane module, sheets of membrane material are disposed in layers with intermediate spacer elements in a manner to obtain mutually alternating spaces for contaminated and purified fluid respectively. Mutually adjoining sheets of membrane material (12) are joined together in pairs in a manner to obtain membrane units (10) which include closed cavities (28). The membrane units (10) with associated spacer elements (18, 34) are arranged in a stack. The mutually facing outer surfaces of the membrane units are joined together in zones and in a fluid-tight fashion along at least one line (36) which extends through the walls of the membrane units. The membrane units are perforated along the line in a manner to obtain through the membrane units a passageway (32) which communicates with the cavities (28).
