    摘要: An exhaust gas processing device for an engine, capable of securely warming a combustion catalyst, is provided. A combustion catalyst burning gas is produced when a warming end condition for the combustion catalyst is established, which signifies the establishment of either one of a first condition or a second condition. In the first condition, an inlet temperature of a combustion catalyst is equal to or higher than an activation requirement temperature of the combustion catalyst, and further, an outlet temperature of the combustion catalyst is equal to or higher than an activation confirmation temperature of the combustion catalyst in excess of the inlet temperature of the combustion catalyst. In the second condition, the outlet temperature of the combustion catalyst exceeds a warming confirmation temperature of the combustion catalyst that is set to be higher as an engine speed is lower, for a predetermined period of time.

    摘要: A proportional heater controls a diesel powered electrical generator with a diesel particulate filter (DPF). A proportional control is applied to the heater based upon exhaust temperature. The heater heats exhaust gas to a regeneration temperature to remove soot and sulphur from the processed gas when the diesel fuel has a sulphur content exceeding 1,000 ppm. The heater is supplied power via SCRs to reduce electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. A manual override permits the operator to set a temperature setpoint, force the heater to meet a certain temperature and establish a load bank for diesel engine electrical generator set.

    摘要: An electrically heated catalyst apparatus includes a carrier, a pair of surface electrodes, a wiring and a plurality of fixed layers. The carrier is formed of ceramics on which a catalyst is carried. The pair of surface electrodes face each other and are extended in an axial direction of the carrier on an outer peripheral surface of the carrier. The wiring is formed into a pectinate shape and is configured to supply electric power from an outside of the electrically heated catalyst apparatus to the surface electrode. The plurality of fixed layers is configured to fix the wiring on the surface electrode. The electrically heated catalyst apparatus is formed so that the carrier is electrically heated through the surface electrode. Elongation of the wiring is 15% or more.

    摘要: An exhaust gas treatment system for an internal combustion engine is provided. The exhaust gas treatment system includes an electrically heated catalyst (“EHC”) device in fluid communication with an exhaust gas conduit, a generator, a selective catalytic reduction (“SCR”) device, and a control module. The EHC device includes an electric heater and an EHC catalyst that is heated to an EHC light-off temperature. The generator is selectively operable in a target voltage mode to supply a target voltage to the electric heater. The target voltage represents a voltage required by the electric heater in order to maintain the EHC catalyst at a catalyst temperature. The SCR device is in fluid communication with the exhaust gas conduit. The SCR device is located downstream of the EHC device and includes an SCR catalyst that is selectively heated by the EHC device to a SCR light-off temperature.

In order to solve this subject, the present invention resides in an exhaust gas purification apparatus of an internal combustion engine which is provided with a catalyst carrier having electrodes, a case in which the catalyst carrier is accommodated, a mat member arranged between the catalyst carrier and the case, a space part extending from the catalyst carrier to the case while passing through the mat member, and electrode terminals accommodated in said space part for supplying electric power to the electrodes of the catalyst carrier, wherein exhaust gas and condensed water are kept from permeating into the space part through the mat member or the catalyst carrier, by the provision of a pressure supply unit which supplies a positive pressure to the space part.
