    摘要: A cartridge for histological specimen slides includes a generally enclosed body and a slide holder. The body is configured for removable insertion into a specimen slide printer, and includes a slide holder receiving opening and a slide feed opening. The slide holder holds a plurality of specimen slides and is configured to be positioned within and removed from the body through the slide holder receiving opening. When loaded in the body the slide holder positions and presents the slides to the slide feed opening in the body. A memory chip for storing information relating to the slides can be mounted to the holder, and is located adjacent an access opening in the body when the holder is positioned in the body.

The present invention includes: a clinical specimen storage unit which stores a clinical specimen; a reagent storage unit which stores a reagent; a code reader unit which recognizes an identification code attached to the clinical specimen storage unit or to the reagent storage unit; a dispenser which suctions the clinical specimen and the reagent from the clinical specimen storage unit and the reagent storage unit, and transports the clinical specimen and the reagent which are suctioned; and a rotating stirrer which receives the clinical specimen and the reagent from the dispenser and rotates about an axis of rotation so as to stir the clinical specimen and the reagent. The axis of rotation of the rotating stirrer forms a predetermined angle with the direction of gravity, and a series of processes for storing, transporting, and stirring the clinical specimen and the reagent are integrated so as to maximize the efficiency of the stirring and the efficiency of the operations.

A cassette (2) is held by a clamp so that a printer can print on the marking surface (3) of the cassette (2). When the cassette (2) is released from the clamp, it is moved via a belt (13) to an opening (20) of a rotatable structure (15) in a cassette receiving position. When the cassette (2) has been received in the opening (20), the rotatable structure (15) is rotated so that the opening (20) is moved to a cassette releasing position. A rack (23) is positioned beneath the rotatable structure (15) in order to receive the cassette (2) from the rotatable structure opening (20) when the opening (20) is in its cassette releasing position. The cassette (2) is received into a rack slot (24) so that the marking surface (3) of the cassette (2) is at the top of the cassette (2). The rack (23) is then moved each time after it has received a cassette so that a successive rack slot is able to receive another cassette moved by the device (1) from the clamp and printer.
